The Sofitel Nusa Dua was an excellent start to our holiday in Bali. We arrived jetlagged and were well taken care of.
However, as it is still in soft opening, there are a few things to improve. Several things were closed when we were there (Kwee-zeen, Le Bar), and not everything is running as one would expect at a 5 star hotel. However the staff are very willing to help and to learn, and do try their best, always with a smile. A special thank you to the concierge Andreas who helped make our stay memorable. We dined at Bumbu Bali for real balinese cooking, it was delicious, and came home to roses and a cake for our anniversary. our little boy also loved his time there and was well taken care of by the babysitters. The only major problem was the noise coming from the Club Med. I did recommend that they not put families with young children on that side of the hotel if it was at all possible. They did finally propose to move us to a new room, but for just the last night so it didn't seem worth the effort. All in all I think it will be a great property once everything is finished for the real opening.More
