“Great resort on beautiful Bali”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

We stayed at Club Med Bali for 10 days and had a fabulous time. The village had everything and there was too many to do it all during our visit... very nice pool, fantastic beach, tennis, golf (included), windsurfing, acrobatics, spa, zen-pool, tempel, min-club, surprising shows, and a fantastic restaurant wherew e enjoyed the best Asian food, both in the afternoon and in the evening. We mostly skipped breakfast, as they had croissants at the pool and made a very good cappucino.
We made several tours during our stay (all except diving booked in the club vilage), and also bought two fabulous paintings for very reasonable price. The only funny point was that there is no ATM at the Club village... a 15 minute walk (3 minute taxi ride) to the shops got me to an ATM to get local currency. Overall a very good stay and for sure a great place which I recommend to all who want to explore Bali while staying in a luxurious ressort.

Room Tip: When staaying at a room close to the centre of the village (in the beginning) we heard the shows whi...

This was the third club med village we've been to. As usual, we were impressed by their shows every night. The buffet spreads served at the restaurant were great and mostly to our liking. The GO team were friendly especially Clayton from mini club, Marina from the circus team, Yigit the bar manager, and Pamela the front receptionist. We had a couple of great night chit chatting with the different GO (as mentioned) after the night party. Apart from a couple of friendly GO, the CDV of Bali, JB, is really good. Appreciated for whatever arrangement he had made for us especially on our birthday which was so memorable.. Kudo to the Bali Team and JB!

A family of 4 from HK, we went for 9 days to the club med Bali.
We heard this was the best club med in Asia and we truly looked forward to it.
We loved it and had a great experience.
On the plus side: the GO team and the sport facilities available. Every night a show worth spending a few thousand hkd on. The all inclusive concept and the fact that one can never be bored as there is always something to do.

Well in a way we liked the fact that it is a club med and a very good one!

We also liked the food and the kids mostly enjoyed the mini club.

On the minus side: rooms in club med are not to standards with other hotels, on the Easter week end the hotel was so packed that the kids in kids club had to spend endless time queuing to get a candy floss or hit a tennis ball. Thank god the GO team made up for this. But it is true that there was probably not enough GO per kids to truly deliver the whole lot of activities planned.

Off course Bali and Nusa Dua are a great location for a "touristic family holiday". Nice beach, beach facilites (e.g. catemaran, surf boards, etc), kindergarten for the kids although no need to "park" them as its a very child friendly club but if you want to sport with your partner its handy to have the kids in save hands. The club in general is dated as already 22 years ago I visited the club. Do not forget to bring slippers as the floors can be dusty. Food is according to CLubMed standards and with the buffet everybody can find something of his taste. Beach is great and the club is much more international then in European clubs were the french have a majority stake and therefor french language is needed, here a lot of Australians, Europeans, Asians.

Room Tip: Avoid the standard room is its so-so...

Just back from a fantastic week spent at Club Med.
My children (6 & 8) loved the kids club and the shows at night. The kids club had such a variety of activities, tennis ( remember to bring runners), archery, circus, beach, pool games, golf etc.
We did some day trips to the Waterpark and an elephant ride, organised by the hotel which were well run, safe, fun and hassle free.
Yes some of the resort is a little creaky, there was the odd ant and some funny sounding birds but this is the tropics and part of the charm
I would recommend this place and my family are begging/bribing/ telling me we will go back again

Room Tip: We had the furthest room from the main area which meant an 8 minute walk every time you forgot the k...

We arrived from Los Angeles after a very long flight.. Tiered and hungry and all we wanted to do is to get to the hotel ASAP...
We booked a shuttle through club med for $39 and had to wait over an hour for the driver to take us, in a hot humid and smoky airport.. Bad start already...
The room seemed okay until the ants showed up.. Big black ones.. They sprayed 3 times and never got rid of them.the internet in our room wasn't functional &it took 2 days to fix it. Towels were well used and stained, as their all the dinner napkins.. Food was oily and you would find the stations empty for people to help. No soda in the main dining room, coffee is from machine only , water served without ice.. Beach chairs are moldy..The Go team we're pretty unfriendly , bathrooms were not well cleaned.. We packed our stuff and moved to the 4 seasons which was cheaper and 5 star . We will never go bk to club med Bali
