The room is awsome..i choose the balcony seaview room and it is really nice..you can have the such view with less than 100 usd is reasonable and worthy. The breakfast for this hotel also not bad..at last when you check out you will get a lovina coffee as a gift.

My wife and I own a villa in Bali and we travelled north and booked here for 1 night. The location is great - right on the main road and the staff are friendly. This is not a new modern hotel but it is well maintained. Check-in went smoothly. Nice combination of Balinese and Dutch Architecture in an open air atmosphere. Lovely gardens outside the rooms. Our room was big- possibly being a combination of two rooms previously. Air con worked fine. Bathroom was very large but basic. some bathroom amenities provided, but don't expect Hermes-scented soap. Nice collection of Dutch and English language reading magazines in the room's sitting area. Big sliding doors to the outside garden/lawn area. Unfortunately the hot tub/whirlpool in the yard was not filled and not operable. Not sure if it was only for this room or for several others. The yard faced the seawall which holds back the sea. One can sun on top of the seawall and this is preferable as the beach is non-existant except for lots of rocks and about 2 feet of sand which is covered at anything but low tide. Thus this is not a swimming beach. The pool area was clean and modern and the pool was large. However the pool tiles are slippery leading us to think they are really wall tiles, not floor tiles. There are numerous chaise lounges, get your towels first from the bartender, who may not be poolside. The bar serving the pool is under the main hotel, about a 40 meter walk downstairs. Suggest that you order two rounds of drinks, not one, as service is slow and spotty. There are two Bale's under which two massage tables are located. Massages are nice and shades are drawn on 3 sides to give you privacy from the pool while you can look out the 4th side facing the ocean. Prices are reasonable but you have to pay in cash. No room charges or credit cards. I think this must be a privately run spa, not affiliated with the hotel. Still, the massages were good. Buffet Breakfast was up next to the lobby under an open air bale. Food was ok. We would still stay here again. Suggest going to dinner in town- take a motorscooter, it is cheaper (USD 0.50) than the USD 2-3 hotel-taxi ride for 2 kms. Try the outdoor seaside bbq restaurant with the wooden furniture and a very nice live jazz band. Attractive wait staff with good English skills, good food, good service, but if you like fish, ask them to filet it first otherwise you will be given the entire fish. Then go to one of the bars along the incoming road to chill out and listen to other music. Lots of tourists at these bars. The parking lot outside the restaurant will have boat captains who will offer to take you dolphin spotting. We recommend "Gede" a local captain with a clean outrigger boat who will charge much less than what the hotel charges, and he will pick you up at 5:45 am on the beach at the seawall steps behind the pool. He will bring you back also.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room as they have gardens facing the sea.

Recently spent 5 nights at this hotel in Lovina North Bali. The hotel was good for the price and the staff very helpful. It was very quiet as being low season there were very few guests. As such we had the pool to ourselves on most days. Right on the beach although not close to any restaurants. However some restaurants in central Lovina provide free pickup and return which helps.

I stayed ad the Ngara seavieuw hotel for 2 days. It has a great combination of the Kolonial wooden design and a high standard for comfort. I was in a seaside room. It already looked nice on internet but in real it was so much bigger, and I really had my own garden (as big as my own garden at home) and at the end my own bed-vieuw on the sea. Everything was very well organized, taxi from the airport, great excusions to Dolphins or tour around to the Buddhist Monastery and Brahmavihara Arama Temple, the Banjar
Hot Springs or/and the Temple in the lake (Bratan Lake). But what really made a difference to me is that in this hotel the people make me feel at home. The hotel manager does a great job with his team taking a personal care for the well being of guests.

Room Tip: Sea vieuw rooms are great.
