“Nice Place”

For a short stay a good and clean hotel. Not very expensive and in the middle of Sanur. Only a short walk ( 5 min) to the beach.

I stayed at Segara in April 2012. It's excellent value. Location great, right by the beach and restaurants and main street with shops etc. The location is quiet and serene with a pool, gardens simply beautiful. Breakfast is taken on the pagoda in the lovely gardens. i stayed in the standard room, the cheapest and it was fine, the bathroom is a bit basic but $35 US for bed and breakfast this is the right price. The bed was firm and v comfy and the room spacious. The staff are available all the time very friendly and attentive. I cannot fault this hotel at all and had a very enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: The standard room is great value if you are on a budget and can live with a basic looking bathroom...

We stayed at Segara Agung Hotel twice with our two toddlers. The first time we booked a standard room. It has an AC but a small and very outdated bathroom. The room was a bit too small for three beds and a travelcot. The second time we booked a superior room which was quite a bit larger. The superior room has an AC, a fridge and a larger more updated bathroom although still old.

We absolutely loved the setting of the Sagara Agung Hotel in a more residential and quieter area of Sanur (close to the Bali Hyatt). The hotel is not too big, about 20 rooms in four different types, more on their website http://segaraagung.com/pages/home.php. If you want a specific type of room it is worth making a reservation because some of them are always booked.

Beautiful and well kept gardens (not something that hotels with these prices usually have), very friendly staff, more then decent breakfast included in the room price. The other meals in the restaurant are well priced and freshly prepared, a good quiet alternative if you don't feel like leaving the hotel. It is however only a five minute walk to the beach where there are several other restaurant options.

The small swimming pool has a little children area. Surrounding the pool are a couple of parasols and sun-beds. It is not very big but more then sufficient with the beach close by and the amount of rooms. During our stay the other guests were a mix of everything; retired people, families with kids, couples mostly from Europe or Australia. Overall everyone was very relaxed and taking it easy, no partying, drinking or loud music around here.

The driver we arranged through the hotel for our trip to and from the airport was very punctual, friendly and well spoken in English. Laundry can be done through the hotel but also outside around the corner.

Room Tip: Pay close attention while choosing a room. Some of them are a bit more expensive but much larger. If...

We stayed at the Sagara Agung Hotel and we could not recommend it enough to anyone who is after a small quiet place to stay in Sanur. The place is older but very clean and well kept. Beautiful gardens. Excellent staff, great food at a very reasonable price. The location is perfect, it is close to the beach and restaurants, but also secluded enough for privacy. Will definitely be going back again.

Room Tip: Choose the Deluxe Room as apparently it is updated, we had it and were very happy, but I noticed oth...

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights (3 at the beginning and 2 at the end ouf our trip) in both the standard and superior room, which were both nice and clean, although the bathroom would need some improvement, especially in the superior room, where it did not live up to my expectations.
AC worked perfectly and we slept very good.
The facilities are very nice, including a beautiful garden and a clean pool. The restaurant is cheap and the food excellent, the employees are very polite.
5 minute walk to the beach.
I can surely recomment this hotel !

Room Tip: Superior rooms cost just 10$ more, i think its worth it

Stayed 1 night – This hotel is a little out of the way, but it is just a 5 minute walk to the beach, where there are some nice restaurants. The price is great, and the hotel clean and tidy. Friendly staff, made it easy for a one night stop over for us. We had a good breakfast, which was included, but didn’t eat anything else there. We had a basic room, which was fine for one night, but for a longer stay we’d suggest paying the little bit extra for a refrigerator etc…

We met a few people who were return visitors, and it seems like a good place to stay for a while. It was very quiet, and had a good pool, and gardens.

We would recommend this hotel for both couples and families.

Room Tip: Probably worth paying a bit more for the rooms with fridge etc...

Location is very easy to achieve since I rent a car to get here and I just put Hyatt Sanur as my guide on my GPS, This Hotel is only a hundred meters away from Hyatt Hotel Sanur entrance with Private paving smooth street to get here. so it is surely an easy destination. Main Gate entrance is so Balinese, and the reception area is more modern minimalism, The Hotel is having a beautiful garden, Warm all day swimming pool even you can relaxing enjoying the pool on 7 PM without getting cold :) The Hotel is very Clean and the Staff is So So So friendly and helpfull, I live 2 nite before in one greatest hotel also in Kuta which is Best Western Kuta, but this private small (15 rooms hotel) is more having space to walk in and sight seeing, somehow me, my wife and my two children I enjoy this hotel more than the previous hotel (best western which I will also review separately), The sanur beach is only 5 minute walk and easy to get also.

The Room is amazing with having facilities as 3 star hotels but only without hair dryer and kettle to make hot water (some people will think it is important), and it is so romantic and clean decoration, the floor the tile the wall and the furniture is so cozy, I like it very much, even the bathroom is smell so good and happy to spent time with hot water and flowers smell shampoo and soap.

The rate when I took in standard room is cheap enough for all the facilities i got. And If I go to sanur I will definitely stay here again.
