japanese chef serves you original Teppanyaki in a proffessional way and style.
The different Teppanyaki diner we ordered, were all served with a lot of onions and potatos,
which disqualifies the total diner.
I been always served with vegetables and mushrooms as well as sojy sproots, but never with mountain of onions and potatos.
The beef is medium quality and only 100gr. as tenderloin or shirloin.
Guests whoes feel hungry, should ask the chef for a bigger portion.
Anyway, please ask for 10% discount if you go there your first time.
All food is fresh and the tuna steak is perfect.
the service is kind and helpfull.

While we quite enjoyed the food, service and wait staff, we found the restaurant expensive by Bali standards. We ordered a tepanyaki set and upped it to serve two (35,00rp). Our toatal bill was 512,000 rp (including 6 small Bintang at 120.000rp) but we left feeling hungry. The set consisted of one small steak, 2 prawns, i "lobster" (think large prawn here) 1 scrap of calamari, i small cutlet of salmon, two thin slices each of about 5 different vegetables (all shared between the two of us). We got rice, miso soup and pickles on the side and a grilled banana and icecream to finish (half a grilled banana each). We had a new Indonesian chef who was clearly nervous so his performance as he cooked was quite terrifying for all LOL. Yes, the food was good, but would I go back? NO. Plenty more places to try out in Bali.

Ok..so by now I am sure that you have guessed..we love it here. Excellent friendly staff and super owners help to make this a must visit restaurant in Sanur. The Electric household (minus the cats) has been to Japan, and the food here holds its own to anything we sampled in Tokyo. Be bold here. Try a few Japanese words with the owners. Try Indo or Balinese with the staff. It reaps benefits whether you are eating here or just popping in for a drink.
Top marks all round. Indeed this restaurant is in the final three in the 'Where will I spend my 50th Birthday on Christmas Day' competition..lol.
Will we return? probably within seconds of getting off the 'plane...
Well done all of you.
