We had a time share exchange to Royal Bali Beach club Sanur. On arrival we was surprised to find it was located on the by-pass a very busy road. However, you soon hardly noticed this once inside your accommodation. The road Traffic was no bother. We stayed in room 121 on the 2nd floor. The accommodation was adequate and clean. Yes I understand it is under new management and up for an upgrgade. However, this does not detract from the ambience there, quiet, relaxing and tranquil. Staff are very polite, friendly and welcoming. Our stay there was enjoyable and we take away some good memories.
The hotel do put on entertainment some nights but most people choose to dine in their rooms or travel to sanur beach area which has an abundance of Bars and restaurants. Which is ok if that is what you seek on vacation. The Balinese dancing night at the hotel was fun and enjoyed by those who attended.
Our trips arranged with the hotel was - well organised, interesting and informative from a cultural perspective.
We even managed to have a Fish meal on one of the beaches and see the sunset go down. A truly magical moment.
I learnt how to cook traditional Balinese food and enjoyed both the food and the experience. Chef Eka was very patient.
All in all - we had a great stay at Royal Bali Beach club, met some lovely people who we have kept in touch with and take away some great memories and photos of our stay in Bali.
Look forward to a revisit in the near future. Thanks to staff and team for making our stay a really pleasant one.
