“DEFINETLY NOT GOING BACK”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

I stayed here for 1 night and completely disappointed, especially with the service.
The room was a bit too dark at night. The electric socket on the vanity wall did not work. And I just found out the next morning when i need to use it. I reported it to the reception, and instead of saying something nice they said I should have reported it the night before when I check in.
I was wondering, how should I know that one of the socket is not working when I check in to the room. Should I check them one by one? Is it not the their responsibility to make sure that everything works properly before letting the guest check in? A very good response from the reception guy, indeed.
And on top of that, the wifi did not work. I asked for new password, the gave me more than 5 new password and all did not work. No mobile signal too, even in the lobby.
Perfect..
I am not going back.

Spent 2 nights here and they do the very best they have with this hotel. The staff are very well trained and are obviously told to keep everything clean always ! Yes the pool lacks atmosphere and the noise from a few kids in there is not inductive to relaxation - but if u want a great location with a modern room then this is it

Room Tip: Not on the lagoon if you want privacy

While the hotel is fine (it's cute, good rooms, excellent breakfast, cleaning, etc..), For the price, I think that there are much better hotels with less distance to the beach. This hotel, the pool has no "life", and to go to the beach, walk about 15 minutes. I definitely prefer hotels in the beach, or near it, for very similar values.

Room Tip: On the first floor, facing the pool

This is my second stay here with the first nearly three years ago when this facility opened. The poolside rooms are certainly the best as the upper floors have wooden bars on the balcony which feel a little enclosed but that just being fussy! Rooms aren't big but hey! I only sleep here! It is not located on the beach but this is offset by a nice pool, personal banana lounges on the pool side rooms with private pool access. Upper floor has loft rooms with provision for families. The beds are very comfy. Air conditioned, plasma TV and beautiful rain shower heads in the bathroom.
Breakfast included is quite good with a buffet in the restaurant.
The standard is consistently high with very friendly and helpful staff.
Look for discounts online as there can be some good deals and try and get the poolside suites. May cost a bit more but definitely worth it.
Money changers, massage and shops all close by. Recommended.

Room Tip: Get poolside suites

I spent 2 nights and it was indeed a nice hotel. Room is spacious and clean. As I was there for business, I didn't have the chance to enjoy the facilities of the hotel. They do have a category of lagoon access room. I ordered room service and food was nice and service was quite fast. This is definitely one of my favorite hotels in Bali.. Great job!

We booked in here for four nights and felt imprisoned for the duration. Once past Reception the hotel is reminiscent of a prison; all windows look out onto caged balconies and barred gantries link each block. The rooms are small and pokey, more like cells than hotel rooms, with just the bare necessities. The bathroom longed constantly and was little larger than a cupboard, there were no drawers for clothes. The breakfasts were awful, the 'hot' food always cold and often undercooked. It was all very depressing.

Room Tip: Try somewhere else first.

We had a pool room which was lovely and we couldn't at any time fault the staff or service in the hotel. We ate a meal there as well as breakfast daily and it was good on all occasions. The location was good and we enjoyed the walk down and along the beach. I personally don't feel the need to be right on the beach and if anything the walk between the hotel and beach was not only exercise it gave the opportunity to check out the many restaurants and cages along the way.not sure where some of the negative reviews are coming from and what these people's expectation levels are but we felt it was fantastic value for money, Aussies seem to choose this newish hotel as a pretence so there is always some great conversations poolside and lots of fantastic recommendations of where to shop and eat. Well worth paying a bit extra for a pool room.

Room Tip: Pool side room worth the extra few dollars
