The resort is lovely and the bed was one of the most comfortable experienced in many stays on the island of Bali. Staff were great, rooms clean and fresh (including the outdoor furniture on the balcony). Massage and body treatments available in a tranquil place. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby and the food at the hotel could not be faulted.
A decadent/healthy/fresh/personalized breakfast menu made for a great start to the day. A couple of things like the mosquito's (prolific this year) and the total cleanliness of the pool area (algae edging and sandstone marked) along with the lack of shade (one umbrella x 4 deckchairs) made for a dose of sunburn (acquired from the water reflection) turned painful and not something we had planned on the first day there. Smart sun we try to be but it just beat us this time. Could we have some shade sails or at least more umbrella's please whilst the palm trees are still establishing themselves?More
