Parigata is in a great location, and with the addition of a free shuttle in the area - easy to get to the top end of the beach/main road. We had requested 2 rooms next to each other, and were happy to get these - however, the twin room absolutely reeked of mould! Kids didn't mind, and we didn't ask to move, as we wanted to be next to each other. Only the lamp power points worked in our room - so I had to boil the kettle at the bedside! Not many kids there, and we were careful to try and not annoy the other guests in the pool when playing with a ball. Buffet breakfast is good. Didn't eat there at lunch or dinner - and it seemed no one else really did either. Construction zone next door - noise starts at 8am.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms starting at 107 - rooms 101, 201 - 106, 206 etc are on the construction zone side. No...

We have stayed 4 night in this hotel as we were treveling aournd Bali.
We really appreciate the A/C in the room and the big balcony.
Because we re europian we have different opinion for standrads than balines people and standards.
Anyway - the hotel and room were really clean and housekeeping service was provided every day.
Rooms are also very well equiped. For somebody can bathoroom seems kind of used but we have to consider the balines humidity at first.
Hotel staff was very helpfull but it is everywhere on Bali.
There is a big auqrium in lobby and also waterfall so it seem as you are somewherer in garden.
Hotel pool is clean you can get towels for free but some of them are really used.
Near the hotel is hotel beach - about max. 5 min walking. Hotel staff provides you with towel on the beach too.
Unfortunatly .there is construction site next to the hotel right now and is not a big problem. before we arrived we were afraid of it but it not so bad.
We can really recommend this hotel in case you do not want to stay there for longer than couple days.
If you want to go for longer time then it is better to choose a bigger resort so you can have more rest. After youple days there was nothing to do around.

We spent 12 glorious days at this resort. Our booking was efficiently processed, the rooms were clean & comfortable & the service was first rate. We found the staff friendly & helpful at all times. The pool area was immaculately clean & well provided for with fresh towels during the day. Our buffet breakfast was included in the package & was adequate even though the menu was not extensive. We chose to dine out for our evening meal as Sanur offers a great number of exciting restaurants with menus to suit all tastes. The resort's location was within easy walking distance to the beach, shops & restaurants and we will be looking to return again to this fine establishment.

Room Tip: We chose a ground floor unit as we are both elderly & didn't wish to climb up stairs to the...

We were a bit alarmed about hearing there was a construction site next door...but hardly any noise at all and nothing at night.
The staff were wonderfully friendly helping out with ideas of where to visit etc.
One little defect were the towels, rather old and some with holes, but don't let that spoil your holiday.
Remarkably inexperience in a wonderful sunny place with their own small private part of Sanur beach.

Room Tip: There are all excellent, but no lift if you get a 1st or 2nd floor.

I visited this hotel with my mum recently and really enjoyed it- the rooms are lovely and the staff are very friendly. The only slight downside is the building work that is going on next door to the hotel where a new hotel is being built- however it did not disturb us.

Parigata Spa and Resort in Sanur is one of three Parigata hotels - each different - and is situated close to the Bali Hyatt in Sanur on the east coast of the island about 30mins taxi ride away from the madness of Kuta/Lombok.
The hotel is set back from the road and quiet (apart from significant construction of a new hotel next door - we were lucky as our holiday coincided with Ramadan so no work to disturb us).
It is beautifully appointed, spacious, welcoming and has a beautiful pool with waterfalls, etc. in the centre with the several apartment-like blocks around it. The rooms are really quite large with full (spacious) ensuites including a full-size bath and a large balcony overlooking the central courtyard and pool. The location and operation of electrical power points is interesting to say the least!
The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly (as are the vast majority of Balinese) and our stay was both relaxing and comfortable.
The restaurant was pleasant and the food of good quality although tailored more for western palates than I would have liked.
Approx 75 metres from the front door, via a private laneway, is the beach with a private area for hotel guests including shade, recliner chairs, bar service, etc.....lovely.
It is well-located in the heart of the restaurant and shopping area of Sanur with a short walk to dozens of fine eateries (see separate reviews) and good shops.....to my surprise, the 'cheap-and-cheerful' clothing of the Bali I remember from 35 years ago has long gone - prices are little different to those at home in Australia!
We had a relaxing and pleasant stay at Parigata and have already recommended it friends!

Room Tip: As stated in other reviews, there is a very large hotel under construction next door - ask for a poo...

Our driver found this place for us after an unexpected airport closure in Lombok (Oct. 2011). We stayed here for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised. The room was a good size with nice furnishing and the bathroom was larger than one would expect from a boutique hotel. We were on the second floor and had a balcony that overlooked the pool.

We got up nice and early in the morning and on the first day we just walked along the beach and watched the sunrise. The second morning, we decided that we wanted to ride along the beach path. Unfortunately, they didn't have any bicycles that were in good condition to ride around so the morning staff really went out of their way to find us another bike at their sister hotel a few blocks away. Honestly, for the nominal fee they charged, it was not worth their trouble but they wanted to satisfy their guests.

This is a small hotel but that's how I like it. It had a nice pool and it never got crowed while we were there. The ground was well kept and the breakfast was adequate.

This hotel is very close to many restaurants so we just walked until we found something we liked. There are also many shops in the area. A bit touristy for my taste.

This hotel is an excellent value and worth staying for a night or two while in Bali.
