We have just spent 3 weeks at Puri Santrian. It was our 3 rd time at this charming hotel. Puri is a medium size resort, big enough to have good facilities but not so big that you feel lost in the crowd. Service is excellent, any issues remedied quickly. We lost our hot water and within an hour of notifying management, an element was replaced and everything fixed. Breakfast is good, though we had buffet breakfast this time, next we may go back to the a la carte option ( the nasi goreng is better).
Although we like to eat at many different places in Sanur, we had some particularly good meals at Puri Santrian's beach club restaurant- hand made agnotti pasta was divine. We loved swimming in the pools and enjoying happy hour at the swim up bar often! We had a number of family members join us for some of the time, and they were all made to feel extremely welcome. We discovered the tennis court only at the end of our stay, but it was great, especially when you could just fall into the pool afterwards.
All in all, I can recommend Puri Santrian as a wonderful place to stay if you want a delightful resort with a truly Balinese feel.More
