This place was the best little warung in Bali, we walked past and both did a double take as it was so busy. So we did the usual Trip Advisor and decided to come back for our tea.
Wow we felt so healthy - we went for the freshly blended juices ( carrot ginger apple wheatgrass type thing) and a chicken mixed salad - this is one thing we miss being in SEasia is the variety of salads - but this place did them all, watermelon and watercress, pear walnut rocket and parmesan, beetroot carrot sunflower seeds and yoghurt ( I think cant remember exactly) but they were huge and came with fresh warm brown bread. and they were 30 - 35,000rps.
They do a great menu - a specials board with the usual Indonesian and fushion dishes - currys, stir frys, then they do a set menu - where you can chose 'set a' - say 2veg dishes, 1 meat and 1 rice from a fresh selection of homemade dishes - this seems very popular and with the locals ( cant believe some other reviewer gave them 1 because they had run out of dishes!!)
and then they do all the salads juices and Panini's. I went for the black pepper beef Panini and it was well fit!!! melted mozzarella on yellow mustard with stir fried black pepper beef and a little side salad. We also went for pork and potato curry with rice.
Bless them they don't even charge you the extra tax you get everywhere else so our meals were so cheap like 125,000 for 3 mains bottle of water, 2 coffees and a big piece of cake.
I have never in my life been back to the same place twice on consecutive nights but we did here - we went 3days in a row because you just couldn't beat the fresh quality and the price.
Yes at times they were getting busy - but people should be mindful of that and be gracious - its not a race. They work very hard in there, the lady was very sweet and never forgot anything off our order and actually we never had to wait long.
Would go back again tomorrow if I was in Sanur, the only other place that came near was Bali Budda that too had a fabulous healthy menu - but once they whacked all the taxes on it was twice as expensive.
