Man Frydays started very well with the fish always consistently fresh. The menu expanded rapidly to other items like curries and pies, but then contracted again. Core business of Fish and Chips has stayed strong. I have eaten here multiple times and the service is always spot on. I went this last Xmas and have to say the quality and ambience has dropped a bit. Word around the traps is that since the new branch has opened in Savannah Resto and Bar, that is getting the lions share of the input energy. Still I will go back.
For a seaside town Sanur should have top class fish and chips and indeed fish dishes everywhere but nothing could be further from the truth.
For the traditional fry up you cannot go past Man Frydays.

We ate their at lunchtime and i ordered the Bali cod, it was one of the best fishes I have ever tasted .... Warning if you don't like batter this is not for you ... We also ordered chips, sausage in batter and salad which was also very good, the calamari had too much batter on it ... Definitely recommend it

Was in the mood for some tasty fish n chips. Had heard of this place and decided to give it a try. I will not waste the calories or money again.

Fish and chips sold separately, which is ok. Fish was fresh, but the batter was "chewy", which nicely matched the soft and chewy cold chips . No tartar sauce, rather a dish of very brown mayonnaise.

The place was not busy. All cooked to order, but definitely missed the point.

Partners creamy fish n prawn with rice came without any rice.

Bottom line is don't go to this place with high expectations about anything.

It's all there menu reads great, was recommended it by friends and ordered Bali cod was all excited ,but found it very average the thick batter on the fish, was way to thick and heavy chips were cooked in too hot a oil looked over cooked but were still little under done pretty disappointing really for the price won't be back in a hurry

We caught a taxi to here last night and it was so worth it. If you are expecting something flashy this is not the place for you but if you love hot and crispy fish and chips that are not swimming in oil on you plate you will love this place. We ordered the snapper, calamari, battered sausages burgers and chips with drinks and none of us had a complaint about anything. It was a lovely change from the typical menu at most of the restaurants we have been to.
