A great location right on the beach. Easy access to restaurants and activities. We rented a family garden villa. We have two teenaged girls. The villa was not a great fit for our family (made more for younger children) so the management offered us two large separate rooms for the same price. We were very pleased with the accommodation. The rooms were not fancy but perfect for what we needed. They were clean, comfortable, air conditioned, had a fridge for cold drinks and a large bathroom. They also had a private sitting area right outside the room.
Free wifi in the lobby and restaurant (but no wifi in the rooms). The pressure of our shower was very low but our daughters' shower was fine (so, it may be hit and miss). Breakfast was fine: rice, noodles, fruit, bread, your choice of egg, juice and coffee. We always were able to have lounge chairs on the beach or by one of the two pools. You will need to constantly respond to the many offers of massages, pedicures, manicures or hair braidings if you stay here or anywhere near here. A simple "No thank you" and a smile is all you need to say. No one badgers.
There is a bank machine right beside the hotel which was convenient. There are many nearby spas to choose from. We liked Koa and Sanyuri as they seemed to be the quietest.
The hotel staff are welcoming and always smiling. They were ready to help us whenever we asked. We loved our stay here.

Room Tip: When you arrive, ask to see a choice of rooms as they are all a little different.

What a fantastic place to stay. We stayed in one of the Joglo Cottages, number 4, very clean, comfortable, hotel staff very accommodating and pleasant. Bedlinen changed everyday aswell as a clean up.... Breakfast very fresh and hot, lots of people complaining on here about the variety and quality of the food, its a balinese breakfast, 'in Bali do as the Balinese do'. Plenty of beach massages, pedicures, hair braiding. Perfect location. Will definitely be back here, hopefully sooner rather than later

Room Tip: Go the Joglo Cottages, number 4, 1 cottage up from the beach

This was not an enjoyable way to spend our last 5 days in Bali. At $80 a night (which we were told was a 'very special' deal we know we could have done much, much better. Where to begin....
1. Breakfast: disgusting. Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng only replenished after repeated requests and then not covered which meant the food was continually covered in flies. Revolting. Service varied greatly- morning staff were quite attentive but seemed exhausted? Juice dispensers were usually empty also and if you wanted to water this sickly stuff down you needed to purchase that separately as it was not part of their very limited breakfast menu.
2. Restaurant- had dinner here on New Years Eve. Sat on a table on the beach but came inside when it started to rain heavily. We carried in what we could but staff took our very expensive cocktail which had been siting out there and poured it down the drain! No apology, no refund or replacement. After dinner ( I ordered grilled tuna which came out in a sizzle plate and was so overcooked that I could not cut through it- like eating leather) I attempted to order a coffee. I was told this would not be possible as the kitchen closed at 10 pm (3 minutes earlier). No warning, no apology just the usual couldn't care less attitude.
3. Front Office- on our last morning, I had to make an 11am appointment in Kuta. I asked Agus the manager to order a 'Bluebird' taxi and was VERY specific about this. He ordered a taxi which arrived and had the Bluebird emblem but we learnt the hard way that it was NOT! The taxi metre seemed to be running very fast, but to add complete insult, the driver said there was a traffic jam and dumped us 20 minutes from our requested destination, (in a storm) and gave us directions to walk in completely the wrong direction. We were very scared and apart from being an hour late for our appointment had great difficulty finding another cab to jump into. I reported this to Agus on our return and his response was to laugh!!!!!! Just when I thought it could not get worse, we asked him again to order a BLUEBIRD taxi to take us to the airport - and repeated it must be Bluebird 3 times. Guess what....taxi arrived and it was another imitation only this time we weren't stupid enough to get in. SHONKY deals are obviously going on.
Room- lovely- except for the loud air conditioner and water leaking from the ceiling straight onto our heads in bed!(avoid room 266). Once again- no repairs, no apology and no reduced room rate. They take your money and run...

Overall the sense I got was that unless there was a buck to made out of you- expect Nothing!

I will be giving this place a BIG MISS in the future.

There were some positives though:
1. Woman at the front desk who seemed genuinely interested in providing good service.
2. Maintenance staff walking past guests on grounds were always friendly
3. Central location (but there are many other better choices close by)

Room Tip: Try and make sure you don't have a leaking roof over your bed!

We spent New Year's Eve there & loved the place. Cost us much less than most of the other places on the beach. Very beautiful area & very clean. The only issue we had was that the restaurant on the beach had several areas leaking water on the floor from rains that caused their tile floors to be very slippery. Highly recommend it.

We are a family with 3 children aged 13, 11 and 5 years of age. We stayed for 2 nights 30th Dec 2013. Before booking in, we walked through the property and requested to look at a 2 bedroom family room. We agreed on this room as it was on the ground floor- very important as my husband has to rely on crutches to aid his walking due to illness.
When we were checked in we were taken to an upstairs room. I had to request another ground floor room obviously. We were then taken to another room on the ground floor, but this room had 3 beds in only one room. By this time I was so hot and bothered and rather upset that our original room wasn't granted. After an hour in this room- Agus ( one of the managers ) rang to say the original room that I looked at 2 days earlier might be a better option!!!!! No kidding!!! So, we moved again.
The room was very very basic. The bed was poor to average, the TV had a couple of channels that worked. The bathroom was basic and not the cleanest. We had rat droppings in the shower.
The accommodation has 2 pools which were fine. Breakfast was very basic.
Over all, the accommodation is in a good location- but I would not stay here again. You can get better value for money elsewhere. I haven't written a below average review before and don't like doing so- but it was a disappointment.

First off, great location and other than uninterested front desk staff , the rest are lovely. Although you have a kettle and crockery they dont like to give you any tea or coffee for the mornings even though i repeatedly asked.Took two days to unblock the shower drain when asked and i had to keep fixing the toilet as it would'nt flush. Breakfast was very limited in choice and every morning the me goreng and nasi goreng (the only two options, though you could order eggs) were cold.Everything was the cheapest available , coffee terrible juice very watery, fruit and toast were okay though. Tried 10 other pubs , no lies , all full.(xmas) Even when we left ,( an early flight) the guy at the desk would'nt order us a cab because we did;nt want his mate, we wanted the regular blue bird cabs because they won't rip you off. Have stayed in better places in the Back of Burke. Never winged before , but this place!

ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel.
