My partner and I managed to escape for 7 days over Xmas and struggled to find a place at the last minute. We found Smart comfort via TripAdvisor. The place is new, clean and in a location only two small blocks from the main street. The unit was quiet with a great outlook onto its own pool.
The owner and staff were helpful if not a bit confused as the unit has only been open for 10 days.
Look to get the unit at the back so no noise from other units. The WI Fi is very limited and drop outs are frequent.

1 review Loved the villa and the staff, the only thing I will say is it felt a little boxed in with no afternoon sun around the pool. If my villa had afternoon sun it would've been perfect.

I contacted the owner 2 weeks before flying out, as our booking included airport transfers and we had not heard anything. He tells me he has made a mistake (booked us in the wrong month) and we were double booked for 3 nights in the middle of our 7 night booking. Now I am unsure why the booking for 3 nights could not be moved, however we were told we could stay 3 nights, be moved for 3 nights and then come back for 1 night. Not impressed by this (as the 3 nights in the middle was not the same sort of accommodation) we had to ask for our money to be returned, and were left looking for accommodation 10 days prior to getting there. We had booked this through Flipkey (in US dollars) and as a result of the conversion by our bank, ended up losing $100 AU for the experience. I would not book here again.

This is more a bone bedroom villa than apartment.you can buy water, beer, soft drink and snacks from the office.
The staff are accommodating, friendly and well mannered. Our apartment 3 is decorated beautifully only one thing missing....no toaster.
The location is five minute Orkney to Hardys Supermarket, restaurants, Cosmos Spa and very cheap massage spa across the road from a cafe Smorgas.
We will be back if it stays the same price and management.

I had a wonderful experience which exceeded all my expectations. We were picked up at the airport and delivered to our destination very smoothly; the reception is manned 24/7 with friendly and knowledgeable English-speaking staff; the reception area also has a little kiosk selling snacks and drinks and renting DVD players, which was useful. I'd be back in a heartbeat!!

Excellent well equiped new apartments looked after by outstanding helpfull staff.
You get 4/5 star style accomodation at very reasonable prices.
Would I stay here again... You bet !!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago, I stayed at Smart Comfort Apartments for 4 days. I have stayed in many villas in Bali and Smart Comfort is definitely the best that I have stayed in for a variety of reasons: position, environment, security, design and service. I loved the private pool and the overall design of the apartments is excellent. I could easily live there!
Even though the apartments are only 5 minutes walk to all the action in Sanur (shops, supermarket, restaurants and beach), the area is very quiet and secure.
I LOVED staying there and I will definitely be a regular visitor!!
