We really enjoyed our time at the Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar. Helpful friendly staff, amazing pool areas and gardens. New resort soft opening great rate. Breakfast is good. Great location. Not on the Beach but this isn't a problem. We hired bikes. Perfect! We would come back.

Dear "Robynfrombroome"

nice to get such inspiring feedback about our staff and team. We always share guests comments on a daily basis with the team to underline the importance of the guest experience the transparency of the new media landscape.

Many of our guests now rent bikes from a nearby vendor and it is indeed the best way to explore unique Sanur.

If you plan a next stay with us please contact our team to get simply the best deal out there.

I stay 3 night there, price vey competitive.the rooms are very spacious and the bed very very good to sleep. They have lovely pool in the middle, as it can be seen from the open space lobby. The ground floor rooms have direct access to a small pool in front of the room, it is seperate from the main pool. The lack I think the bath room is not too comfortable because they seperate the shower and the toilet with door so there is not many space to move, overall this is a good new hotel to stay.

To start, I did find that the service staff tried very much to be helpful, and the pool area was really really nice.

Aside from this, not so many positives. Foremost for us, the hotel was not on the beach. It was not clear when we booked how far away their beach area was, but it turns out it's quite a ways away. To make this workable, they would have to have a shuttle on demand or with very frequent trips, instead of the very infrequent shuttle that was offered. We decided to walk, and ended up wandering the beach. Although the beach area is shown on the map we were given, there were no landmarks that would be helpful, such as stating that it's the beach area in front of the Hyatt. There were no signs on that actual part of the beach saying that it was for the use of the Swiss-Belresort guests. Even without the wander, the walk took at least 15 minutes, and probably more depending on your speed. The system for beach area vouchers was also not great- we were not allowed to be issued vouchers until actually heading to the beach, which meant that instead of waiting for these when it suited us or when there wasn't a large wait in reception, we had to wait once we were ready to go. Although it should be a simple task, this seemed to often take at least five minutes to print vouchers, and this was when there wasn't a big wait at reception.

The rooms were fine, but as with rooms that have been built super-cheaply, even the brand-new rooms were already showing signs of wear. The jacuzzi is a nice idea, and we turned on the water just to check it out, but I think to fill the tub to a usable level would have taken at least a half hour. I felt pretty crammed in the teensy toilet area, and so have no idea how my much larger husband could have even gotten the door shut.

All in all, not the greatest. I'd look into something else for my next trip.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely, very new, hotel in Sanur.
The rooms are very spacious and the spa bath on the verandah is very luxurious. The lovely pool meanders through the middle of the resort. There is no lawn area just decking and sun lounges so this resort may not suit families with small active children. The ground floor rooms have direct access to a long narrow pool that is separate to the main pool. The inner rooms face the pool and the outer look over the local area which is peaceful and very Bali. Our breakfast was delicious and the staff are delightful. Take advantage of the very low prices while the hotel is still in the final finishing stages. There was only minor noise during our stay. Whilst not on the beach it is an easy stroll through the government hotel opposite to the sandy beach. We also used the free hotel shuttle to the Hyatt beachside where towels and sun lounges are free of charge and the Pizza Ria restaurant is still operating. We usually stay at the Hyatt which is closed for major renovations. I think this hotel is a great addition to the Sanur area.

Room Tip: If you have a toddler a ground floor garden room would be great as they have a walled garden

Stayed here for 3 days and 3 nights. Price was very competitive and good. The Hotel was new so the facilities were great. The pool was spectacular and was a great place to hang out after a tiring day of going around Bali.

We arrived at 9am and the check in was 2pm. The hotel didnt seem fulll at all, but they said our room wasnt ready. we came back 12:30 hoping they would have fixed the room, and give us an early check in, but this wasnt the case so we checked in at 2pm exactly. For a nice hotel, we got a little disappointed with this service. Other hotels are much more accommodating.

LOCATION: Its at Sanur, where its really laid back and most of the tourists are the older age group (retirees, older couples). But its in the middle of everything (the main street) so its easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Its not a beach front property as i was expecting. The walk to their beach club (apparently they are using Hyatt's beach front facilites and umbrellas) is quite far, a 20 minute walk. but makes good for some exercise.

SERVICE: the place is really great but the service was LACKING. I requested for room change and i called the front desk 3 times. They said they'd get back to me but they NEVER DID. The included breakfast was good though! Buffet intercontinental cuisine, sausages, pancakes, french toast. The staff was warm and friendly, everyone greeted us warmly. Our flight back was early at 8am so we requested for breakfast to go which they had prepare for us.

AMENITIES: pool was superb. Room was clean, beds were soft and sheets were hotel grade. Toilet was clean, but the drain of our shower didn't seem to drain very well. Didn't bother complaining since they lack with follow up service.

Will i stay here again? For the price, since it was good, yes, but its pretty straightforward. Don't set your hopes up for an over-the-top service.

Room Tip: choose the pool view

Dear "Manila_trvl"

Mabuhay!

Thank you for your kind feedback and please accept apologies for the failed room change. As previously mentioned, we are expanding our reception team to cater to the increasing number of guests.

We by now also serve full American breakfast. and our pool is open for non hotel guests in exchange of a minimum consumption at the pool bar/restaurant.

We hope to welcome you soon back again here in Sanur.

Best regards
