“everything perfect”
Reviewed 15 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Have been to Bali many times, always stayed in Kuta, but this year surfing the net found Villa Sapa. We booked the Villa for 14 nights. Firstly the owners communications was fantastic, always replied promptly to any query.
On arrival we were met by Eka in his bright orange polo shirt, very polite and softly spoken. He gave us a small bottle of water each and cold towels which were refreshing. On our way to the Villa Eka gave us a quick tour of Sanur which was helpful.
On arrival at the Villa it was as per the photos, very attractive. The furnishings are quite simple but perfect for a rental.
The wifi was strong, I think there was 138 tv channels incl Aust plus so we could watch the AFL. a water fountain with 19l of water was supplied and surprisingly we found cooking oil and salt n pepper as well as dishwashing liquid and a t towel.
The 2 door fridge was a perfect size.
Plenty of tissues and the bathroom soap, shampoo and hanwash was good quality.4 pushbikes were supplied which I used everyday even though I hired a motor scooter as well.
The scooter was particularily welcome in going to the morning market and some great local take away food stands which is too far by bicycle.
The bathroom was perfect, great water pressure and lots of light.
The bed for me was not the most comfortable, but hey ur on holiday.
The villa was around 600 metres to the main road and 700 metres to the beach in a lovely quiet location, for us it was the best location.
Eka, Ketut and Made were fantastic, loved seeing their happy faces
We are thinking to come back for 3-4 weeks next year when we can organise dates.

Ps: in Kuta now, wished we had stayed longer at Villa Sapa instead of coming here

“Incredible experience. We will be back.”
Reviewed 27 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

From the time we made our booking at Villa Sapa we were impressed. Kathleen and Bruce went out of there way to ensure that all details were covered, the always responded quickly and efficiently & offered plenty of tips and advice on the region. The villa is only a 5 min walk to the main strip of Sanur & it centrally located. The villa is simple, but is designed, styled and fitted out well. The beds are super comfy (something a lot villas lack) & the enclosed kitchen/lounge area was a huge plus for us. You can sit inside and not get eaten by Mosquitos (we didn't see one whilst we were here) & you can relax knowing that your child isn't going to dive into the pool. We asked for a cot and it was so clean, it had a duvet, mattress topper, pillow and mosquito net (a huge plus). We have been to bali over 12 times and I would have to say this was one of a most enjoyable experiences (Villa and service). Although I want to keep this place a secret, I would highly recommend to all.

“Incredible”
Reviewed 25 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had the pleasure of staying at Kathleen & Bruce's fabulous Villa Sapa. It truly is a spectacular place to relax and take in Sanur. The communication leading up to our visit was excellent and Eka the property manager is the most helpful friendly man. Our holiday was truly enriched by having met Eka and his family. We are already planning a return visit early in 2017.

“Perfect Villa”
Reviewed 30 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We have just stayed at Villa Sapa for 8 nights. We were greeted at the airport by Eka, who was very easy to spot with the villa Sapa orange shirt and sign. Eka is lovely and would do anything for you to ensure your stay is perfect. We had a minor problem with the hot water which was quickly fixed with no further problems. The cleaners ketut and made came every day to clean the villa and sweep up the frangipani flowers which had fallen. They were very friendly and polite.
The villa also supplies 4 push bikes which were so much fun to ride around sanur, haven't been on a bike in years but soon found our bike feet after the first ride. Traffic is generally pretty good riding along the road but do look out for the bluebird taxis as they don't tend to be as polite on the road with cyclists as other drivers or motor bike riders. Always felt safe riding along even with no helmet.
The villa itself is beautiful the photos of the pool area don't do it justice as the area is quite big and spacious and get full sun for most of day for those sun worshippers like me and husband had the huge gazebo all to himself. Perfect.
Eka showed us the way to the main road which was a few minutes on the bike and prob 5-10 min walk/stroll. 2 small local shops selling basic supplies nearby too.
The owners Kathleen and Bruce had good constant communication up to and including our stay, thanks so much for providing such a lovely villa.
The neighbourhood is fairly quiet with the odd dogs barking and children playing.
Small warning though there is some construction going on behind the villa at the moment, we didn't mind the noise however might affect some people, was better than having doof doof music playing all day.
We would recommend this villa to our friends and would definitely stay again.

Dear Gina, Thank you for your wonderful review. We are always so pleased to hear how much guests enjoyed their stay. Very glad you made use of the pushbikes provided, as it is such a easy, fun way to get around Sanur. Yes, the neighbourhood is generally fairly quiet like you say. The construction nearby is due for completion August 2016. On a whole the building process has gone very smooth and the manager has minimised and adhered to very little disruption to our guests. Thank you for your recommendation, we would have great pleasure in welcoming you back anytime.

“Ultimate relaxation”
Reviewed 2 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We rented the 2 bedroom Villa for a mini vacation for our family. Kathleen and Bruce from the start were excellent to deal with, extremely accomodating as we have 2 teenage children that didn't want to share a bed they offered a rollaway bed. Eka pick us up from the airport and was always there when we needed him, driving us to Kuta and other tourist attractions. Our daughter unfortunately got a little Bali belly and Eka drove to supermarket and bought some ginger and made a ginger tea to ease the symptoms. Nothing was a inconvenience for him. Ketut was our lovely cleaner who was always there with a smile and kept the villa lovely and clean. This was our first visit to Bali but it won't be our last. Thank you for making our holiday so amazing.

“Absolutely Amazing.”
Reviewed 11 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My partner and I stayed in Villa Sapa for 4 nights. We were lucky enough to have the two-bedroom villa. This was nice and spacious. The villa itself is quite modern and looks exactly like it does in the photos. Villa owners Bruce and Kathleen were very informative and provided constant communication leading up to our stay. They arranged a airport pick-up, which was great as we could get straight to the villa after a long flight! We were greeted by Eka, who is a lovely man and would do anything he could to ensure you have a happy stay! (He even dropped us off in Ubud and is returning in a few days to pick us up!). Ketut and Made look after the properties cleaning aspects and are lovely people. The villa is situated in a very safe neighborhood and is a 5-10minute walk from the main Sanur restaraunt area. The walk is very flat and also well lit at night time. There is a shortcut that Eka will show you that isnt on the maps! There are also bikes that the villa provides or you can catch a Bluebird for a few dollars to get home! Thanks to everyone who made our stay great! We are hoping to return in 2017! Thanks Leigh and Jacqui

“Everything and more !”
Reviewed 26 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We hired both the 1 & 2 bedroom Villa Sapa as a family. The booking process was flawless and efficient. Two Villa Sapa driver's collected us at airport and greeted us with the warmest of smiles and a service beyond, the cold towels and water was so appreciated. After a short drive from the airport we arrived at the Villa. Our first impression of the Villa was, wow & wow! It is a true haven of beauty and tranquility. The perfect place to have a much needed vacation. The staff showed us around and made us feel welcome. Having tea and coffee provided was a welcomed treat. The area is quiet at night, the beds are comfy, and the bedrooms are private from each other, ensuring a peaceful nights rest. The pools are more than efficient, we enjoyed the use of sun loungers and gazebo area. No hassle of fighting for a pool chair like at a resort!
Villa Sapa is a short distance to the restaurants and beach, we used the good quality pushbikes provided for getting around. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the area and mingling with the local people. We highly recommended Villa Sapa, excellent Villa for it's price range. We will definitely be returning and we look forward to seeing Sanur and all the lovely Balinese people again. Thank you
