This was our second visit to Segara village 2 we enjoyed it so much last time(7 nights) we extended it to 9 nights(11-20th August). The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble . The gardens and proximity to the beach really allows this resort to shine. The rooms are excellent the beds fantastic and good quality linen.we had breakfast as part of out package the staff were willing to cook eggs to order overall we were very happy. The one thing I think they can improve on is the cost of eating there the food is fresh and well cooked but expensive you can step onto the beach and eat from the many restraunts along there for half the price. We would definitely recommend Segara Village and will return next year, and look forward to seeing all the friendly faces of the staff who looked after us so well

We stayed here for a week as the second part of our honeymoon and found the experience overall to be excellent. Please believe me when I say that we thoroughly enjoyed our time here however I do have quite a few negative things to point out too!

The staff around the resort were friendly and helpful, could not fault them at all.

Our room was excellent; practical and clean, if a little on the small side. The shower was not particularly powerful but just about adequate. The two major downside to our room (508) were the building works about 30 yards from our balcony that goes on all day long (from about (7:30am) and also the disgusting smell in the courtyard area. Seriously, it is like rotten eggs coming from what appears to be stagnant water in an old pond... however as it only affected us for about 20 seconds each day it's not the end of the world but definitely needs sorting.

The pools are both fantastic. The smaller pool was our preferred pool however all of the comfy sunbeds next to the pool are reserved from about 7:15am... although rarely occupied until about 10am. This leaves the other (much less comfortable) sunbeds on the grass or the main pool. Getting a sunbed at the main pool and on the beach never proved a problem however are nowhere near as comfortable as the 10 or so beds around the smaller pool.

The jacuzzi bar is excellent... when staffed! This seems to be the place everyone gathers in the late afternoon and is a great place for cocktails and meeting other guests. The only problem is if you are the first person to use it there is nobody manning the bar so have to try and track someone down which is not always so straightforward.

The byrdhouse bar at the front of the resort is exceptional. Good drinks, good food however the service is very variable and seemed to deteriorate through the week. At the start of our week here we commented on how efficient the service was however by the end of the week found the long waits for orders to be taken, for drinks, for the bill, etc very frustrating. It seemed that when the chaps in the beige tops & headgear were working that area everything ran like clockwork however when they weren't there things seemed to fall apart. Good music and a relaxed vibe overall.

We stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis... and wish we had just stayed room only. The breakfast is seriously poor, to the point where I ended up just having toast each day. From talking to other guests this seemed the general consensus however if you were prepared to wait for an omelette to be cooked apparently they were very good, though you did have to wait quite a while.

The spa here is very good and we had an excellent relaxing balinese massage which I thoroughly recommend.

Overall, this really is a solid beachside resort. My points above may give a slightly worse reflection of my time here than intended but on the whole it is honestly very good!

This hotel is in a great location, the grounds are well kept and the staff friendly.
The bathroom in our room was poor and needed updating. This maybe the work that was being done in the area next to our room!
The food was quiet good if you ordered off the menu, so it is ashame that the hotel pushes all you can eat buffets when they can produce better food.

We visted this hotel more then once and love this place, it offers everything you need on a holiday. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is very good and there is an afternoon tea at the beach. Definitely book a massage at the spa around 17/18h. For a good cup of coffee and the best cakes you should go to Luthu's at the beach. We love to go to Little Bird for dinner and music.

Room Tip: Every room has a great view, some rooms are located near the swimming pool, and they are all surrounded by a beautifull garden.
