“Great - again.”

Just stayed at Mango Villa again for 7 nights, we previously stayed 2 years ago. The ever reliable Nyoman was there to look after us, she does a terrific job cleaning the villa. Bill the manager greeted us at arrival with his usual cheery self. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing and wonderful stay, clean and large pool, comfortable beds, icy airconditioners, fully fitted out kitchen, and a large TV with hundreds of channels. It even has Satellite so you can watch all Australian free to air channels, hubby was pleased to be able to watch the footy!
Heaps of restaurants only a few minutes walk and a handy Pharmacy/Chemist at the end of the lane a mere 30 second walk away.
Mango Villa is a superb place to stay as a couple or a family as it has all the comforts of home but with a real Baliense feel. We'll be back for sure!

“Great Villa and location”

This villa is fantastic. Great pool and facilities. 50m from main street of Sanur but no noise from the street. Nyoman the house maid is very friendly and does a great job cleaning the villa. Bill is friendly and will help with any queries you may have. If you need a driver Bill can arrange one for you. Sanur night market is just a little way up the street for cheap and great food. We all had a great time staying at the villa and will stay again.

“A hidden treasure, great value for money!!”
Reviewed 22 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Our first trip to Bali, and we stayed at Mango Villa, (or as the owners call it 'Villa Costa-Lotta'), a great 'secreted' location in Sanur. About 30 metres from the main road, it is a very quiet location, with any music from nearby bars finished by 10pm. The privately owned 3 bedroom villa (each with ensuite and equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans) is beautifully kept, having a fully air conditioned media room and a kitchen being true 'open plan.' It is a treat to be able to step straight out from all areas to the pool.
Great restaurants nearby, such as Randy's and Maya for breakfast, and Mossimo, Mona Lisa, Lilla Warung and The Glass House for first class food for dinner, cater for all cuisines and price ranges. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach, a Tootsie hamburger on the beach at Tootsies was a treat.

Highly recommend the Villa...regardless of the 'real name!!' Loved it.

“Location was amazing”
Reviewed 9 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

What a location. Next to the Kentongan Restaurant is was easy to direct taxi drivers. 30m from main road, you could get anywhere quickly. The Maid Nyoman was a lovely lady, and she and Bill the Manager were able to organise Beer delivered to our door for a cheaper price than Hardy's, saved having to carry in the heat. A small gang lane to walk to Sindhu road to the beach, took about 5 mins. We discovered Randy's around the corner, literally a 2 min walk. What great food!!! Bill and Maureen managed the property and gave great tips and contacts of a lovely driver Ketut and Alus for tours. The amenities at the villa outstanding. I have never seen a villa with the set up of TV's and every channel you could ask for. The cute little turtles in the pond were the icing on the cake. Would definitely stay at Mango villa again Thanks for a great holiday Bill and Maureen.

“Mango villa sanur”
Reviewed 17 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Had a great time at mango villa.very relaxing.
But have the same complaint as every other review the flooring around the pool is very very slippery when wet.
I myself had a fall on it.I think this should be some how attended too.
But otherwise it's a great villa Plenty of room for 6 adult's.
Very central.

“Mango Villa is A1”
Reviewed 15 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

My friends and I spent 5 nights at Mango Villa. Bill and Maureen greeted us on arrival and showed us around, which was greatly appreciated. Nyman the housekeeper made our stay very comfortable, even doing our washing and handing us umbrellas in case it rained. She must have known, because it did rain. It was wonderful being able to choose either the inside lounge with airconditioning or the outdoor lounge area to sit and relax in. The pool was a perfect size just to jump in and cool off. Being less than 50 metres from the main road makes this villa very assessable to great restaurants and access to Sindu Beach. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Mango Villa to anyone wishing to stay in a private villa in Sanur.

“Great spot, good for friends/family”
Reviewed 7 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Our stay at Mango Villa was great. We were a group of friends (3 couples) and it was great to come back after a long day and just hang out either in the pool or in the air-conditioned lounge room. Staying at villa is so much better than staying at a hotel and can highly recommend it. Bill was very accommodating and made himself available for any questions. The only negative was that there were small ants everywhere so we had to make sure that there was no food left out, but that was a minor thing.
Our first morning we ordered breakfast from the mini warung across the lane and although he was very friendly and delivered it to the villa it took 2 hours to actually get it. We were going to give it another go a few days later, but even though it said it opened at 8am, oftentimes it didn't open until after 9, so unfortunately we didn't get to have another go, which was a shame because we did want to give him some business, but were on a bit of a timeframe.

Management Response
8 Jun 2016
Hello Kathy. Thank you for taking the time to publish a review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and sorry about the ants. Whilst Nyoman does her best to keep the villa spotless, ants will always find any food that is not in a cupboard or in the fridge.
I will have a quiet word with Freddie at the warung. He's a lovely chap and I'm glad he is there but unfortunately he works on Bali time sometimes. Still that's his business.Fortunately with Coconut Tree, Randys bar, Shining Jewel and Kentongan all within 60 mtrs of the front door, guests do not have to rely on good old Freddie for a quick meal. Hope to see you again at one of our villas in the future. Best wishes from Papaya Group.
