This temple is very beautiful and artistic, so many tourists who come to see its charm, but for purposes of worship. Pura Taman Saraswati has a water garden and lotus pond at the center of its attraction as a tourist attraction. This temple is decorated with so many fine carvings and inside there Padmasana shrine located in the northeast, but it also contained bale barong, giant masks, statues of Goddess Saraswati and the statue of the devil Jero Gede Mecaling as high as 3 meters in front of the temple.

“Convenient temple ”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

The Saraswati temple was the first temple my wife and I visited in Bali. Our hotel had a shuttle that dropped us off on a block away from it. The temple is unique and beautiful although the Starbucks right at its main entrance takes away from its character.
To our surprise there was only a few people looking at the temple which is nice when you are taking photos. You are required to cover up if you are wearing shorts or revealing shirts, but there are sarongs provided at the temple.

“Neat Little Place”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

One of the first temples we saw in Ubud. Easy, as it's pretty much right there off the main strip. The place is pretty small as attractions go, but still neat to see all the stonework and the flowers. Lots of fish in the water. Some semblance of tranquility, even though the busy street is just out front.

If you get thirsty or hungry, there's a restaurant and a Starbucks right at the entrance.

“Easy to access, quick to visit”

Like: the carivings along the stage and the font. Location in the town centre so little effort to see it

Dislike: wish it was larger!

“Lovely Lotus Pond”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Although it's small, it's still worth a visit. Tucked behind Lotus Cafe and Starbucks, the temple is like a little getaway from the busy Jl Raya Ubud. It has a very nice lotus pond. You can't enter the temple, just admire the architecture from the compound. There is traditional dance every Thursday evening where you can enjoy from Lotus Cafe.

“Grab a coffee and enjoy the view”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

Its definitely a nice temple and if you are in UBUD then you should come and visit. Its very small and you cannot actually go inside but its just enough to see the pond, the stage and the main doors.

This temple is located close to the end of the famous Monkey forest road, with the palace close by and the market. You cannot miss the entrance as there is a big Starbucks and an Indonesian restaurant. We did not even know about the temple but the Balinese music got me going and looking for its source.
