Because we got there were really late. The manager help us upgrade to the really pretty room. The room has a relax atmosphere. I will recommend it to my friends the hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful and always has the excellent smile to anyone. The free Wi-Fi and the facilities in the room are making you think it really worth the price. The most let me want to back again is their breakfast that is unbelievable delicious and everyone should try their coffee. When I leave Bali Island, I can't forget the coffee and try write the mail to the hotel hoping can get the brand of coffee. Actually I don't think I will receive the answer when I already leave the hotel. But the manager sends the mail back soon and tells me about the coffee very detail. Thank Komaneka at Bisma for giving an unforgettable holiday during the busy life

Room Tip: breakfast coffee

I stayed here in December 2011 with my wife and daughter and we had a fabulous time. We arrived late in the evening as our flight was delayed. On arrival we were presented with cold towels to freshen up and cool drinks. We were quickly shown to our room where staff went through all of the facilities with us and showed us how everything worked. Very efficient and friendly. The room was perfect. A nice seating area to watch TV and use the Apple TV with its countless movies. The beds were very comfortable and our daughters extra bed was a full size single - not a crappy fold up as you often get. The night we arrived the beds were beautifully decorated with flowers. Other nice touches in the room were the night shirts, the jar of cookies, the insect repellant, and the generous amounts of toiletries. They also provide plenty of towels.

The first thing that we noticed was that everyone knew our names, mine, my wife's and my daughters. This was everywhere we went in the hotel. We were always met with a smile and friendly greeting. Service everywhere was fantastic. The hotel have a very useful shuttle service into Ubud and on our last night we went for dinner in Bridges restaurant and they just told us to ask them to phone the hotel when we were ready. We were collected within ten minutes. Very efficient.

The food in the hotel was very good indeed. There was a wide choice of breakfasts available to set you up for the day. Breakfast is served till eleven too so there is no pressure in the mornings to be up and about too early. Afternoon tea which was served form 3 to 6 was very nice and for us it negated the need for a lunch. Dinner is also very very good. We ate in the hotel on three evenings and we were very happy with the food we received on each occasion although the restaurant was very quiet at the time we were there.

The grounds of the hotel are lovely to walk around. There are different and interesting sights and views around each corner. The hotel is set in the jungle so there are lots of insects around but this is to be expected and should not put you off in a any way.

The pool is large and very inviting. My daughter and I spent lots of time there and they have a ring and noodles for the kids to use.

On our departure we were given a gift each which was a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ubud. It was fantastic.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor for the best views.

The best honeymoon destination in ubud. They are set in a serene valley with paddy fields. the resort has pool villas and suites and a few very unique rooms called the tent suites. We had our original booking at the Komaneka Monkey Forest for a suite but upgraded to the Bisma which was definitely the best thing to have happened to us.
Though a little off road, the hotel has feel of completeness. Komaneka has the most amazing lobby over looking an infinity pool which is on the lowest level. The lobby has a wooden deck with a shallow pool in the center with the tranquil sound of the forest and water cascading. The hotel flows down like the rice terraces over 4 floors. A flight of stairs takes you down from the pool to the spa which is set amidst the rain forest with a stream flowing behind.
The resort has beautiful walk ways lit with small lights which are connected to every part and are secluded to give a very romantic feeling. Make sure to ask for a room on the higher floors to enjoy the view. The suites are huge and divided by a sheer curtain in 2 sections, bed and sitting area. The bathroom gives you a feel of living in a spa... With a large separate rain shower cubicle, a massive bath tub for 2, a walkin closet. The hotel does not spare any opportunity to pamper you. There are massage oils and candles scattered all over the room, balcony and the bathroom to give you a perfect honeymoon. They also provide you with a very updated entertainment system connected to an Ipod with a huge collection of movies and music.
Breakfast is a grand affair. Either chose to have it in your room if you are lazy like us or in the restaurant which is a level higher than the pool so you can sit on the outside wooden deck overlooking the pool and the forest. The variety available in breakfasts is very huge. Do not miss the fresh fruit platter to see the exotic fruits you may never have heard about.
The resort provides a very regular shuttle service to Ubud center so that you are not hassled with negotiating rates with the local Taxi drivers who are found in plenty sitting by the roadside in the main town area.
The hotel also has many activities ask the reception for assistance including biking tours, excursions, offering making, etc...
The hospitality of the staff was touching and very detailed. They take care of every requirement to make your stay memorable.
I strongly recommend the Komaneka Bisma as the place to start your new life.. Happy honeymooning!!

Will definately stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone! Apart from the beautiful rooms, luxurious bathrooms and great location, it is the little things that set this apart. The cookies in the room , the sleep shirt, the afternoon teas, the welcome and farewell gifts. It does not matter that it is a 10 minute walk to the Ubud market, because when you don't feel like walking, there is the free shuttle. Cannot wait to go back

Room Tip: Ask for top floor - better views

Having visited Ubud on several occasions this time we stayed at Komeneka, Bisma. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. While one can walk into Ubud there is a courtesy bus which runs at frequent intervals. The lush gardens are a joy to behold and swimming in the hotel's main pool, one has the feeling of swimming in the tree-tops. The hotel rooms are of an excellent standard as is the cleanliness. Apart from the main hotel rooms, there are secluded villas of varying sizes each with its own pool. They serve an excellent breakfast including fresh seasonal fruit and juices of ones choice.

I was blown away with hotel, the room, the service, everything!
The time when i was arrived it was late evening already, we got delayed for 5 hours and by the time i arrived at Ubud my mood was bad. But when i entered the room (we stayed at Bisma suite), i was amazed by the settings of the room, it really lifted up my mood. The bed was so comfortable, i got one of my good sleep at Bali there. The details..ooh..they provided you with pretty much everything that you need. The bathroom was huge, the walk in closet was moderate, the apple TV hast lots of choice for the movie, the cookie jar (we couldn't stop munching the chocolate chip cookies)..the amenities..
I love they turn down service also with their bedtime story, rose petals, their signature pyjamas, bottle of water on the bed side table and other small things that they did to make our stay more comfortable.
The breakfast was good, there were not that much choice but i think if you stay only 3-4 days that would be enough.
The spa was heaven, you should try it! The therapist gave us the massage on one of the room near the river and it was amazing, their massage was beautifully synchronized. One of the best that i ever had.
The pool was great, but you have to be quickly to get the sun lounge because there weren't many of them.
The staff was wonderful. They will greet you by name, very polite and modest.
I will definitely come back and i think people who love the tranquility and serenity will love this hotel.

Room Tip: Must try the pool villa. I will try it on my next visit because highly recommended by my friends who...
