Stayed here for 5 nights in one of the single storey double rooms close to the front of the property. Our room had a very high ceiling as it was a single one. Beautiful little verandah - although as we were at the front everyone walked past us to get to their rooms so there was no privacy. This was only when sitting on verandah and we like to chat so we didn't mind and would call out hello and get to know the other residents. The tradtional doors and windows are beautiful and give it such a Bali feeling. Our bed was nice and big and comfortable. The room wasn't that big but the bathroom made up for it as this was very large. Shower large enogh for two and lots of shelving space in here for your clothes. Small fridge in bathroom also. Large mirror. No TV but we had our own DVD player to watch a movie in the evening if we wanted to. Our room was cleaned daily.

The breakfast area was at the very back of the property and it was very lovely there with lots of trees and plants. The breakfast changed each day and was rotated every three days or so. Only small but always fresh and lovely. The rooms down the back of the property looked nice and very private - would be nice to stay in one of those.

The swimming pool was in the middle of the property and was only small but good enough for a dip. Pool towels were found in a basket by the pool. The staff were always cleaning and sweeping up leaves around the property and it really looked very nicely well maintained.

The location in Monkey Forest Road is a definate bonus as it is so easy to walk out to restaurants, shops, money changers, laundry, internet - anything you want or need is right outside the door. It is so nice to just stroll along Monkey Forest Road. We hired a scooter so we could get around to places further out. Laughing Budhha Bar up the street a little has live music a couple of nights and also offers transport to the Jazz Cafe wihich is a favourite of ours on different nights when they have music.

For the price we paid I think this is excellent value and would definately stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights and have only good things to say. The a/c room (no. 12) that we had was clean and comfortable although quite basic. No complaints about that though. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is really peaceful and beautiful. Location is great. FYI they only provide 2 small bars of soap and the bottled water is charged at 3000 rupiah. Credit card payment carries an additional 3% charge. I would go back.
