When you're ready to escape the hullaballoo of the city life or just the zoo that is Kuta, this is the place to go. Set in a well established tropical garden on the top of a gorge overlooking a river, this villa is perfect if you'd like privacy, peace and still be within close walking distance to Ubud.

Our large room had the Balinese style indoor/outdoor bathroom plus a large window with a view of the water feature. It was great to just sit and read on the long bench with this bay window. But the pool (definitely long enough for laps) was also another possible place to do absolutely nothing. (I believe one of the villas has its own plunge pool.)

The garden attracts colourful birds plus a variety of small animals like little chipmunk-like creatures.

The meals are simple but of great quality - Indonesian cuisine well presented.

Staff are very welcoming and nothing was a problem.

It's about a 10-15 min walk to Ubud, along the side of the Monkey Forest where cheeky monkeys playfully interact with tourists. Just be careful if you're carrying any food.

Beji Indah is definitely a place to return to. It's a destination in itself.

Room Tip: There is a variety of villas available. Each one has its own design and features. I advise chatting with staff or email with your needs to see which they recommend would best suit you.

Really nice and quiet hotel, perfect for a break!! Staff was friendliness and the location is just amazing (located in the middle of the nature)and only 10minutes to the center of Ubud...better for couples..the room was really clean and spacious, you can enjoy the sun at the pools up and down with the jungle and his cricket's song around you. A little paradise for nature lovers

My husband and I had 4 lovely nights at Beji. This was a lovely way to start our holiday in Bali, very relaxing and quiet. The location is beautiful, magnificent manicured gardens on various levels of the property, 2 infinity pools on different levels and another pool nearby. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Our room was very roomy with a lovely view of a waterfall which you could hear all night, very calming. The property is very steep and there are a lot of very steep steps to get to your room, so if you are disabled in any way, request a room towards the top of the property. The restaurant was very nice with an adequate breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel offers a free shuttle service a few times during the day which is good. There are many great restaurants in walking distance.
My only criticism would be, the beds could have been softer with linen that fitted the bed and did not come off during the night and the design of the bathroom was different, you had 2 shower roses to choose from, 1 in the bath which shot across the bathroom and another which was opposite the vanity. Drying your hair standing in water was not a safe option!
Overall, we had a lovely stay, thank you.

Room Tip: If you don't like stairs, choose a room closer to the top of the property as the stairs are very steep.

nice resort outside of Ubud. We stay here for 3 nights and enjoy the lovley garden with the nice swimming pool. our room was really big and clean. Shuttle service brings you 2 times per day free of charge to Ubud and back to the hotel.
only the breakfast has to be improved!

We were two families, travelling with 4 adults and 6 children. We had booked 2 Lumburg Families Rooms.

As we arrived really late, we were shown straight to our rooms, and checked in the next morning without a hitch. The resort is great. Lots of beautiful pools to choose from, a great restaurant for breakfast with a good choice and eggs however you like them, and magnificent views. We also ate here for dinner, and dinner was great too, staff helpful and polite.

The rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable and big!. The bathrooms are acceptable, nice and clean, it's a hand shower, and the water pressure is not great and the temperature is either too hot or too cold - but really 1st world problems, we all managed to shower!

I would stay at this resort again and would recommend anyone travelling with children and looking for a place where you get bang for your buck|!

Room Tip: Lumburg Family Rooms - spacious and clean
