We were in Bali, Ubud and wanted to eat at Naughty Nuri's for lunch after hearing so much about it. However, our driver convinced us to try the ribs at Pundi Pundi instead. After a disappointing meal at Ibu Oka (which our driver advised against) the other day, we decided to take his advice this time. We ordered 2 portions of the pork ribs (of course) and the crispy duck. The portions were not very big but reasonable for the price compared to what we have to pay back home. It came with free rice or potatoes. The ribs were finger licking good - juicy and tender with a fair amount of meat on them and the sauce was neither too salty or too sweet, just right! My 4 kids and hubby devoured them all and we had to order another helping to keep them satisfied. The crispy duck though was nothing to shout about. It was nice and crispy and not oily but had too little meat on it. However, the soup and vegetables which came with it were nice. All in all, we had a very satisfactory lunch in a very rustic setting. The place was conveniently located near the Monkey Forest and we were glad we did not have to travel far in the awful Ubud jam-packed road to reach there.
