This location ised to be a retreat space run by the royal Balinese family. Went for a weeklong yoga retreat. Twice daily yoga classes for about 3.5 hours total per day. Some free time in the morning and evening was structured into the retreat. Attention to detail at the space was impeccable. Felt at home immediately. They catered to my dietary needs, had plenty of bottled/reverse osmosis water everywhere I wandered. The villas were spacious enough to do yoga inside the room and on the front porch. Of, course, they have a designated open air yoga studio which is captivating (and not too buggy during evening practice).
I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Ubud over the age of 14. It is a quiet peaceful respite from the rest of the world. Additionally, the location is slightly removed from the main shopping district (3 minute shuttle ride), which allows for a more secluded feel. Not too close or too far. Just right. Did I mention that the location was absolute music to my eyes, ears, smells. Really magical.
