My partner and I went to the evening class and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our hosts were welcoming, knowledgable and helpful and the cooking itself was a really fun experience. Everything flows smoothly and the way one dish transitioned to another was so quick it seemed like magic. If you turned around to look at something, when you turned back the table would be full of clean pots and pans and new ingredients to cook. The attention to cleanliness and food health and safety was outstanding and receiving a book of recipes to take home was a really nice touch. The food itself was great and the balance between socialising and cooking was perfect. If you're someone who fancies themself as the next master chef, this class may not be for you as we did not really go into huge detail about specific techniques or flavour combinations etc. However, if you're someone who wants to learn about Balinese life whilst learning the basics of making delicious food with a bunch of great people, I would definitely recommend this class.

After a very late pick up from our villa! We were thoroughly engaged. Loved the overall experience.. After many visits to Bali we finally did this tour, amazing, very well organised, spotless facility. Ended with a beautiful lunch with a splendid view. Will return and would recommend.

It was great to get an insight into the balinese hindu culture...seeing the market and the rice paddy was great and then the cooking was amazing, the colours and aromas were divine. The instructors were fantastic and taught at a good pace and with some humour thrown in and the end result was so tasty.

Wayan and Pusba were very welcoming. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the rice fields to see where it was grown and told all about how they harvest it. When we arrived at their home we were told about the 4 buildings that a Balinese home has and taught a bit about the Balinese lifestyle.

We were talked through the ingredients and then we tried various jobs including chopping, grinding, frying etc using Balinese methods. Veggies and allergies were catered for with various options and Pusba who delivered the cooking was very funny and accommodating.

The balance between cooking, chatting with others and eating was perfect and we even got given the recipes to try at home - with alternatives for Balinese ingredients we probably won't find in the UK.

Thanks Wayan and Pusba, all our family and friends are waiting for Balinese food when we get home at the end of August!

Wayan and Puspa are absolutely amazing people. They invited us into their home and taught us the secrets to Balinese cooking. A well rounded experience that not only covered off on how to cook Classic Balinese dishes but have insights into the workings of the local market place, how rice is grown and the Balinese family life and culture. Would 100% recommend. Come with an empty stomach
