I booked this hotel during peak season at the end of Ramadan and it was so cheap I wasn't expecting much, especially as I had booked it only 10 days before I was due to go. So I was delighted to find that it was in an excellent central location while still being quiet, and that my room had a huge terrace where I could sit drinking tea or coffee (which is always awaiting you with flasks of hot water when you get up or come home) overlooking rice fields. The Balinese style building was lovely, the rooms spotless with comfortable beds, hot shower and bath and the nights are cool, so the fan was perfectly adequate and powerful enough to ensure I got a good night's sleep. The breakfast was simple but delicious, they make a mean scrambled eggs on toast with fresh fruit just right to set you up for the day.

My favourite thing though were the family who run the hotel. They were so nice, friendly and welcoming, even though I arrived at 2am and they hadn't got my message that I would be so late due to an error on my part. Mr Yannick drove me himself to places including airport transfer at a reasonable price, which is nice and convenient when so many taxi drives try to rip you off =) He also gave me some excellent advice on travelling and was so helpful. I felt really looked after.

If you are the kind of person that likes to relax by the pool/spa of a luxury hotel, then this is not for you; there is no pool and no garden or restaurant facilities. But if you want value for money, excellent location, cleanliness and a charming, authentic Balinese experience with warn, friendly people, then I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Loved this place and will be returning there when I return to Bali in December.

Room Tip: The room furthest from the stairs on the first floor has the best view of the rice fields.

Kori Bali Inn 2 is definitely 'tucked away, inside, off-the-beaten-track' : only one person asked recognized the name or knew where it was located-- and that was all that was needed!
The structure is beautiful! -- rather traditional in style. The room's door is two narrow panelsg opening inward to the room: wooden, arched, hand-carved and -painted, w a flower+bird motif-- quite a lovely detail! The mattress is comfy, the sheets and comforter are fresh + clean.
The rooms are modest, yet very clean. The furnishings are wood and*or bamboo; the bathroom shows wear, yet all are clean and function well: the bathtub is deep, yet no plug is present; the water is HOT! The almost constant gentle breeze, in addition to the ceiling fan, assured a comfortable sleep-- there was even enough chill (mid July!) to warrant asking for a second blanket.
The included breakfast choices were traditional balinese food, eggs (your choice) with toast, or pancake (banana w honey or plain). The scrambled eggs, tho plain, were cooked well(not runny, not 'tough'); the banana pancake was 'normal-style' for Bali, and tasty.
The staff are quite friendly, understand and speak English, and very willing and helpful with solutions (rather than excuses!) : giving me an extra blanket.
On 'performance evenings,' one can hear the music from the classic dance performances, as well as some of the acoustic guitar (afterwards) from a near-by restaurant out on the street-- all this does stop at a reasonable hour for sleep.
I would go there again, and would recommend Kori Bali Inn 2 to anyone else looking for an inexpensive, quiet, clean room!

Room Tip: all rooms are 'equal' --depends on twin or double bed!

I stayed here 3 days and felt totally comfortable. They brought breakfast to my room, it was very nice. The loction is central where you could reach everywhere easily just walk. This inn is value for money, clean and big room, cheap price, strategic location and a good and nice owner Mr. Yanik.

Room Tip: Choose room in the second floor.

The thing that makes this place so good, or rather te person, is Nyoman. This guy runs the hotel, makes you breakfast, organises trips, has a chat with you and always does it with a big smile.
The location of the hotel is central and the rooms are clean. Basic Balisnese room with ceiling fan and hot water. Don't expect 5 star luxory, because you're not paying for it.
All in all, great value for money and a great stay.

The single member of staff Yaman is a hero. He brings breakfast every morning and tries to see if there are any activities he can book for you and which are the best.

Our room was so authentic and unlike anything we had stayed in before. The view of the mountains and the rooftop is so unique.

The location is also wonderful.

A nice, helpful, kind, polite, well manner, good driver and good trip planner mr. YANIK. He helped us to plan the trip to suit our need.

The breakfast provided is nice with fruits.services provided are sufficent.

The room is very aesthetic with local baliness style. I love the design.

Strategic location to moneky forest, nasi padang and market.

Price is very cheap and reasonable. Value for money with such a paid for such a wondetful room in bali.

Another extra review for Mr. Yanik is that he is not only a good driver trip planner, but he is also a good actor. We made arrangement to give a tripmate special birthday surprise. This was an unforgettable memory in kori bali inn.

Once again, this inn is value for money, clean and big room, cheap price, strategic location and a good and nice owner Mr. Yanik.

Yanik and his family are the nicest people and were very helpful for everything (transportation, orientation...). The breakfast was included in the very cheap price and it was delicious. The room itself was typically Balinese, beautiful, very clean and the location of the guest house is very central but quiet.
I had one the best stay ever in Kori Bali Inn!
Thank you Yanik.
