“This place with transform you!”
Reviewed 10 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

The home and gardens are perfectly maintained and presented with attention to detail. The staff will spoil you daily with fresh fruit, beautiful floral arrangements, delicious meals and daily cleaning. The beds were very comfortable. They also speak English and can arrange guided tours, massages, rides to the market, or a drive to the north side of the island. We enjoyed morning walks through the lush vegetation right off the road behind the house. You won't want to leave! The owners were easy to work with and quick to answer any questions we had. We will be back for sure!

“The Perfect Place to find BALANCE for that busy family”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in December 2015

This was our 2nd visit to Ubud and we would not stay anywhere else but Villa Tirta Indah. Because we stayed here 18 months earlier and had the best time. We are a family of 6 and because I am writing this review I get to have my say......Being a mother of 4 very busy teenagers, I truly could not wait to get to this villa. I knew that once I entered the doors leading to the manicured gardens my "vacation" would begin. I did not have to make beds, cook any meals, clean, drive kids around. I could just sit back and enjoy every minute of being pampered. Iluh the manager is world class. You just have to ask her once for something and without hesitation it is done. An example would be when at Christmas all the kids (we had extra's staying with us) wanted to wear traditional Bali dress. Iluh made it happen, she borrowed from family and friends and of course her own wardrobe for the many different sizes. The photos of all 7 kids in Traditional Bali Dress will be a treasure forever. The staff could not do enough for us. They were at the villa for most of the mornings but you would never know it as they go about their chores quietly and quickly very unintrusive. We spent our days by the pool or travelling into Ubud with Putu the driver. A very careful driver with good english and knowledge of the area. kadek still makes the best coconut crepes and Gede is always there to greet you with the biggest smile. It says a lot about a place, that when you return after 18 months and the same people are working at the villa and still laughing and enjoying each other and making the best vacation for the guest. Again, I have to highly recommend this property, if it wasn't so far from Canada I would visit more often Thank you Ketut and all your wonderful staff.

“What a wonderful place.”

We actually stayed back in April of 2013 but my Trip Advisor app doesn't allow me to go that far back on dates. I don't know why we've waited so long to review. The place was beautiful. The staff was amazing and very personable. Yes, it's next to a road that sometimes gets a little noisy, but it's not too bad. My family and I took a "No Beach" vacation to Bali and the villa was perfect. It's next to a rice field and in a very local area, not flooded with tourists. Central Ubud is very close by. There are no beaches in the area, so if you plan on staying here and going to a beach expect a 30-45 minute drive. I definitely recommend eating here as well. The ladies are excellent cooks, on top of amazing people. The driver and grounds keeper were also wonderful. I don't remember their names, but if anything made the villa a great place to stay it was the staff. We traveled with my 9 month old niece and 2 year old nephew (at the time). The stairs to the top floor are steep for younger children, but aside from that, the villa is child and family friendly. My family and I look forward to a future return to Bali and we will definitely be staying here again if the day comes.

“Nine days in paradise”
Reviewed 10 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Right from the airport pick up, our stay, to our drop off, everything was very efficiently managed. We were welcomed with warm smiles and dinner by Iluh and team. They provided us with good advice on what to see and do and took care of booking massages, tickets for dances etc. Ariya is a very safe driver with a good sense of humor and knows his way around.
The villa in itself is amazing. The cleanliness, kitchen, the fresh flowers adorning the villa, pool, organic garden and food cooked from fresh vegetables from the garden (when available), i can keep going on.
Gade was always around to help us yet left us to our privacy.
kadek and puttu and iluh made yummy vegetarian local food.
Ketut the big boss has been overseeing everything through emails. Thank you.

A small snippet to the extent of care the team extended. My sis in law and me took the scooter to the nearby supermarket the day after we landed. I guess we took longer to head back, saw that Gade had come down to check if we are OK. And escorted us back to the villa.

We are definitely going back.

“Ubud Treasure”
Reviewed 5 March 2015 for a stay in February 2015

While at first it was very difficult for us to send payment via bank transfer, those initial fears became completely unfounded. Not being able to pay with visa was a concern; heck, the whole world deals with visa! What we discovered through this experience was that we were dealing with warm, friendly, down-home people in Ketut and her staff. The payment method was a reflection of the care and meticulous detail that was invested in ensuring a vacation second to none. As we had stayed in Seminyak for a week, the Villa Tirta's driver, Ariya, picked us all up and transported us to the waiting luxury of this beautiful villa about 15 minutes outside of Ubud. Luxury was an understatement as we were completely awed upon arrival! The grounds are meticulously kept: the organic garden, the fabulous pool and its decking, the family temple with accompanying daily offerings ceremonies, etc. The villa itself is beyond luxurious: a spacious, clean and extremely well-stocked kitchen, three large beautiful bedroooms with fans and A/C and a large inviting dining area. The upstairs bedroom complete with a huge balcony / terrace was where my wife and I started our day with coffee and tea; it was an excellent getaway in itself for yoga meditation, internet browsing, etc. Ariya, our driver was so accommodating as he waited to take us wherever we wanted to go. Daily trips to Ubud or day-long excursions were thoroughly enjoyed in the air conditioned comfort of his spacious van. Illuh, Petu and the rest of the staff ensured that our breakfasts were always scrumptious and prepared us for a day of activity or leisure. The traditional western breakfasts or the wonderful pineapple, coconut or banana crepes were mouth watering! Dinners were also available by Illuh and the girls upon demand; they were definitely the best meals we had in Bali from the gado-gado, to the chicken satay and pork, fish and chicken dishes to the vegetarian dishes - there was something for everyone in our group. There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that we would return to this villa if we ever planned another trip to Bali. The staff of the villa Tirta Indah treated us like family and facilitated one of the most enjoyable vacations ever!

“4 days is long enough to lose your heart to VTI forever!”
Reviewed 17 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Iluh, Komang, Kadek and Gede are the villa staff here and do a magnificent job of meeting (and anticipating) guests needs. The villa is clean and spacious, the gardens magnificent and although the drive into Ubud is over 15 minutes it is so interesting you won't notice. We came across a ceremonial procession in one of the villages when returning from dinner one night.

The bedrooms are air conditioned and there are plenty of fans for air movement everywhere. The pool is unfenced for those with little ones.

You feel part of the real Bali here - take a walk in the paddies in the evening and see the fireflies!

Such a spacious, clean inviting place, outside ubud on the rice paddies. The staff is simply superb. They really take care of you. My kids loved the pool. We loved coming home to candles lit by Gede to welcome us.
