Owner description: The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

“Good walk!!”
Reviewed 8 April 2014 via mobile

We chose to walk the 5 mile option and we really enjoyed it, the best part of the walk is going up to the ridge as the surroundings are stunning and the sound of the two rivers either side is very relaxing. When you get to the village you come across a restaurant called Kake Kafe and the views are great and your bamboo seats are on top of a pond which was nice. Then from there you walk around roads and some of then are steep and you finish you walk thinking you have walked a long way which was good for us. My advice would be to either walk in the morning or late afternoon as it gets very hot

“Morning Run”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Woken up at 6am, much to my disgust, told were going for a morning run up a hill. All i can say is wow ! Awesome run, first one back for a LONG time, such a scenic route plus we beat the heat AND other travellers. Fairly easy to find once you know where your going, we found a blog called liveloveraw.com and she has very kindly uploaded a photo guide to finding your way there from the Ubud markets. It says its 2km upto the top but I'm not too sure, we ran (more of a leisurely jog) for 40 mins and were up and back down to our scooter parked at the school.

“Lovely walk”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Great walk. Wear proper shoes and take water. Probably best to do it outside of 11-3 because it gets hot. Not a trek but a walk on a small path. Love the high school kids canoodling on the side :)

“Pleasant walk”

I good easy walk to do to get out of the hustle of Ubud. Nothing to spectacular but just enjoy being out for some exercise. Easily signposted from the hotel before the bridge. Start early as it can get rather hot.
