This hotel is as pretty as a garden! Spacious rooms, wonderful view of rice fields, blooming flowers everywhere, goldfish in little ponds, and warm-water swimming pools - couldn't ask more for a traveller like me who just wanted to find a place to escape from work pressure. And the location is very convenient for either shopping, money exchange, dining, a walk to Ubud Palace or Monkey Forest!

I am travelling alone and wanted to be centrally located (100mtrs off hanoman st, around the corner from monkey Forrest road and 1km walk from the yoga barn). This place is beautiful! Great rooms on rice fields, with 2 pools, free wifi, nice breaky and nice staff! Will definitely be back!

location is quite convenient, just off JI Hanoman in Ubud, near to Coco Supermarket, Dirty Duck restaurant and Kafe, waking distance to Ubud Palace, Market or JI Monkey Forest, no need to grab any taxi.
My room was a 2 storeys villa. Downstair was the toilet, bathroom and closet, 1st floor was the bedroom facing the padi field, no wonder u must feel peaceful and retreat.
The staffs will prepare the mosquito outside your main door, and there is a mosquito repellent provided in your bedroom too.
There are 2 infinity pools, both are nice and especially for morning or dusk swim, really unbeatable.
There are 4~5 choices for the breakfast, included the indonesia fried noodles, u must try it, otherwises, u must feel regret.!
Staffs always keep smiling and say "hello" to u , of course, helpful.
I were always lying on my daybed during at the afternoon, just enjoyed the breeze and greenery scene.....listening the music and reading a book.....thats what a holiday i wanted for me
Just go there, u never feel regret!

Our first time staying in a double storey villa. downstairs was the toilet and the 1st floor was the bedroom facing the padi field. sadly it was after harvesting. was quite fussy to walk down the stairs each time to go to the loo actually. mosquito level is still bearable. pool was nice. had a morning swim and spa also was nice. location is really close to bebek bengkil. walking distance. but the kettle was filled with dirt when my wife was trying to cook fresh water. took them sometimes to get a replacement for us which they did from another room. he tried cleaning it with lotsa soap as the kettle was filled with the soap scent when it reaches our room. breakfast was ala carte which is js per portion rather than buffet style.

Biyukukung is well located just off Jl Hanoman in Ubud. Nearby attractions include: Kafe, Yogabarn and Jl Monkey Forest (and all that has to offer!). Yesterday I went for a pleasant walk along most of the busier parts of Jl Monkey Forest and Jl Hanoman, there was no need for the ever present offerings of "taxi!"

We stayed in a second level room with good air conditioning and a small balcony over looking the rice paddies. The views are beautiful and it is a nice quiet location.... Ok, there are cocks that crow all day, insects and other bird life, but its far more pleasant and rural than being on the main drag!

The rooms are pretty basic, but are serviced daily. They're clean.

There are two beautiful pools, one just behind reception and the other at the bottom.

Breakfast is standard Bali fare, nothing to write home about. The fruit is nice though!

The best thing about Biyukukung are the well kept, beautiful grounds, the friendly staff, lovely pools and that they have free transport available in to Ubud.

Finally, I always look at the bathroom to gage whether a Bali hotel is worth the money spent. This is the main reason I have only given Biyukukung 4 stars - terrible, dingy bathroom with poor drainage in the shower and sink.

Located in the heart of Ubud, this strategically located resort is a great place to stay. Our room was facing the newly planted rice paddies (2-3more months before it's all green right in front of your eyes!). Watching the farmer doing their hard job from the gazebo in front of your room or just reading a book, or doing your own yoga/ meditation session on it.

Very quiet at night, you can only hear the sound of the frogs singing. Beautiful stars studded sky. We walked to the closest restaurant for our dinners.

Monkey Forest is within 10 minutes walk, and Ubud market or the Ubud palace is within walking distance as well.

Our room was spacious, jacuzzi en-suited. Breakfast is standard, prepared freshly as you go to the dining-room/restaurant. Didn't try the spa, so wouldn't be able to tell.

Overall, a pleasant stay. Would go back there anytime possible!

Very nice resort!! We got more than we paid for. The room is nice, they offer the guava juice for welcome drink, and provide the fruit platter for us. The bathroom is quite big, but the shower area a bit dirty. Still the rest is very nice. The pool is quite too small, beautiful to look at , though. The view is fabulous, which will be better if we come at the right time. We went there when all the rice turn brown, no longer green. The breakfast is quite good. The place situate not far from Monkey forest, and market, so you can easily walk there. No need to pay for the taxi. There will be taxi every 5 steps when you walk out the hotel, and they keep asking you if you want a taxi to take you to somewhere or not. If you want to go to the Monkey forest, I recommend just walk there. Easier.
