After spending 5 days in Seminyak it was lovely to go to Ubud to see what i really pictured Bali to be. We stayed at Ananda for 5 nights and it was lovely. Its was just how i pictured it.
With a pram it was a little difficult but doable with our Phil and Ted pram. Not a Stroller job!
We had 2 rooms and the kids slept in the second room with our baby in a wooden cot (provided by Ananda for free) in with my husband and I. If you have young children make sure you book an upstairs room as there are no support rails around the downstairs verandas which made it very unsafe for our baby so swapped with family and moved upstairs. We were able to split the kids from ourselves with the use of an adjoining door on the balcony. This meant we could keep the girls room locked and had access to them without leaving the rooms as such. (Some other rooms have internal adjoining doors also.)
Breakfasts were plentiful, room service yum and delivered with a smile. Pools were lush and views were spectacular.
As a parent they only thing missing in my opinion was no kitchenette but that's the style of accommodation but be aware as i was not but was booked by other family members.
Over all a wonderful place to go and relax with no tv and wonderful music played each night that softly echoed through the cottages.
Thanks for a relaxed holiday Ananda.
