We stayed in Artini 2 Cottages for one night only to relax on the way back to Seminyak from Padangbai. We really like the hotel's relaxing balinese atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff, nice pool, good breakfast, and what a nice room! We only got the double bed but this is not the standard double bed size - bigger. Location-wise, it was perfect for me as it is very close to Bebek Bengil.

Sculptures abound, amazing pool area, beautiful grounds! The front door of the room is a work of art in itself. The hotel is right in the middle of the action but away from the street and feels like an oasis. Close to Yoga Barn, close to a great restaurant Kafe and many others. Loved it!

We have just spent 9 nights and Artini 2. It was not our first choice but the other hotel was booked out. Immediately when you arrive you are greeted by welcoming staff. The staff here are amazing. They quickly learn your name, your room number and make an effort each day to come and talk to you or help you out with any bookings.
The rooms are on the small side with not much space for luggage, the sheets smell clean but are stained and could do with being replaced. The room is cleaned daily but staff who leave flowers and make the towels in animals each day. The shower is HOT HOT, which is great but lack of water pressure means it is difficult to get clean/wash hair.
The location is excellent and is a quick walk from the Yoga Barn and central to explore the town.

My month stay was a very pleasurable experience and I am going back a second time. The staff are simply wonderful, from the manager, Old Made to all the other staff. All were friendly, helpful and made my visit a joy. I feel the staff contribute to the very social atmosphere at Artini 2 and love the way they all have time to stop and talk, and are interested in each guest. The facilities are very good value for money, the room was very comfortable, pool area a great place to relax, meals were tasty and adequate, the gardens are beautifully maintained and the service in general was excellent. I have introduced a number of friends to Artini 2 and will continue to recommend it.

This place is fantastic. The garden is breathtaking. The service is welcoming. The breakfast is good. The pool is clean the room spacious and the proximity to all the cultural experiences that Bali has to offer is right there. Reasonable motorbike rentals, near a million massage pallors, restaurants, walking distance to Monkey Forest, and the Ubud market the palace. Safe, and clean. Great Value for the money. I couldn't say more nicer things about this place.

Room Tip: If you don't have knee troubles take the second floor.

The Artini two 'cottages' are actually a mixture of rooms in the main reception block, rooms in a second block further back in the grounds and rooms in strangely but solidly constructed vertically 'semi-detached' blocks around the edges of the grounds. We had the top room in the block as far back as the grounds go. The room backed on to a duck farm but the ducks were well-trained and only made sounds during the day.
Inside the room, there was an air-conditioning unit without a remote control and this, we learnt, was standard - despite advertising the fact that the rooms were air-conditioned on the board outside. Having said that, we had a large fan on the ceiling that proved more than adequate for the job although apparently, not all rooms had one of these.
Tea and coffee making facilities were included, the bathroom was huge and the balcony was well-stocked with table and chairs. One word of warning, watch your head on the low-flying cast-iron bulb-holders on the balcony.
As far as shared facilities go, the hotel has a clean swimming pool of decent size, the food is good and most importantly, the staff are friendly and attentive.
The place is set well back from the road - which is a handy street around a kilometre in length and packed with a good selection of shops from high-end fashion to local artists and 7-11s. A short walk away (10-15 minutes) is the local market and some more refined (and expensive) eateries such as the Dirty Duck.
