Nice villas farther west from the centre of Ubud. Very nice designed, green and leafy.
Room I stayed in was spacey enough with external bath and some basic furniture (please do the dust).
There are to swimming pools in the complex.
Breakfast was ok but very basic.
The only problem is the way from the hotel to different premises. If you wanna walk watch the road. There is no pedestrian paths and drivers are a lil crazy. If you're coming back from the city be prepared to climb on (can be a hurdle for elderly people)

Stayed in the back section meeting up with friends , Very quiet with that Balinese feel to it relaxing by the pool away from the hustle and bustle was excellent, rooms were good and the Breakfast ok , We stayed at 3 different locations in Bali and this was perhaps the best value for money , A short Walk to town and a cheap taxi back to a peaceful surroundings . Would definitely recommend. Felt like you were in the country without hoards of people around.

We got the deluxe with balcony for 50 gbp which is amazing ... great balcony , great garden , pool , service. Though breakfast is not perfect . Nice location 10 min walk from the centre . you ll sleep hearing frogs and crickets, surrounded by ubid country side ... I would go back there without doubt ...

My room looked lovely from the out side. It was quiet and had two balconies. Think I will will get one of the up dated rooms next time as it was musty and my shower was hard to use and shabby. I suppose that what you get for $60 per night..
Staff were great.

We stayed for a week in this delightful small hotel and would go back again. Rates for a deluxe room were very reasonable. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms at the back of the garden. They were attractive, clean, spacious and had really beautiful bathrooms and excellent plumbing! The pools were beautiful and the gardens well cared for and attractive. Breakfast was OK, though not a lot of variety. WiFi was available but we often found it difficult to log on from the room. easier closer to the front of the hotel. There is no restaurant or bar, though room service is available. It is a good walk from the centre of Ubud, which makes it quiet and peaceful.

Room Tip: Go for the refurbished deluxe rooms towards the back of the property.

I spent a week at this small hotel at the beginning of February. The room that I stayed in was at the front part of the hotel, very comfortable but if I should go again, I would try the rooms at the back of the complex as they have been re-furbished with a more modern feel. Two lovely swimming pools at your disposal and very clean, thre are plenty of sun beds to go around. Good breakfast nicely served all in the room price. It is about a 20 minute walk to the main drag in Ubud, and about the same going in the other direction to a large supermarket. Six or seven warungs and restaurants are within a couple of hundred meters of the hotel should you want a lazy day. Altogether I had a good and enjoyable stay.

Myself and my sister stayed in De Manut for three nights! De Manut's decor is very Balinese! The rooms are great with white drapes over the bed, a lovely touch! The outdoor bathrooms are very private. The outdoor of the hotel is beautiful with tropical flowers and lovely stone work. You definitely feel like you are in Bali! Staff are very friendly and the girl on the reception is so nice and helpful. Breakfast is nice with fruit and a main meal served. Pool is also lovely and cool also! The only fault of this hotel is the location, nice ten minute walk into the hotel during the day but at night myself and my sister had to get taxis as we felt unsafe on our first night walking home. Street lights are limited and there is a hill up to the hotel with no foot path. Still I would definitely recommend this hotel as taxis are very cheap and only needed at night!
