Stayed for three nights, should have made it longer, the staff and all of the grounds men could not have made our stay any better. Every thing was very clean and the gardens were like a little Eden. Will make this our only stop next time in Bali

This in an unforgettable stay for a great vacation! We only stay a night because of the tour we had with the agency but if we will come back to Bali- Ubud ( and we surely will...) we will choose this one! A superb view, a very gentle staff, a comfortable room with every thing you need.
Breakfast is very good and so also the dinner we had without looking for it in the town, because we were tired and wanted to be in a peaceful stay. The shuttle service is very useful and quick. If we are sad to have coming home is also for this beautiful stay!!!

Spent three nights here and we arrived late afternoon. We found the staff of the hotel to be extremely friendly and helpful. Always a great start! The buildings all looked very old, we weren't sure exactly what to expect. The villas are very old - but we found that they are very well maintained and clean so - fabulous. They have done this right. Our 2 story villa was spacious and private. One bedroom & bathroom downstairs and one bedroom & bathroom upstairs. There was a second level balcony overlooking the rice paddies. We had our own pool and it was private from the other guests. Upstairs there is an amazing grotto style spa bathroom. Rustic and unique... The hotel pool is beautiful! So tranquil, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. The restaurant is good, we had breakfasts and a dinner there. Take advantage of the hotel's shuttle to Ubud town centre & wifi... I loved this relaxing hotel and wish that I could have stayed longer!!

Waka di Ume is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. The staff were so accommodating with every request we had, they were so friendly and always made sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves. The property itself is extremely clean, spacious, the pool is gorgeous, the massage/spa service is AMAZING and the food is fantastic. If you are travelling to Ubud, stay at Waka di Ume!

My wife and I were staying at the Chedi Club but did the cooking class at Waka and it's highly recommended. First an early morning trip to Ubud's main market, then breakfast at waka (don't eat too much, otherwise you won't be able to eat lunch) and finally cooking a 3 course meal with their chef. Brilliant!

Their "trick" to upgrade a booking whenever possible symbolizes the service quality and mentality of this dream place. Not cheap but worth every rupi. They constantly upgrade the site. After the vegetable garden in Dec 11 there is now a new palmtree alley along the rice fields in front of the cottages. I wonder what we will find next time

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Waka di Ume Resort. Everything about the place was first class. The villas were beautifully manintained and presented, the staff were a delight and helpful and the environment, nestled as it is on the edge of rice paddy fields, was typical Bali. It's far enough outside Ubud to be quiet and relaxing but still within walking ditsance. Also, they have a free shuttle service. The breakfasts were great and the one dinner we had in house was one of the better meals we had in Bali. Will go back there every time in future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking paddy fields (although most are!)
