My husband and I (early 30's ) highly recommend this French Boutique resort that provides stylish rooms, great swimming pool overlooking rice paddy, delicious food (Traditional Balinese & European) and awesome service. The romantic dinner option in the midst of the rice paddy was a treat! The restaurant - Terra Cotta had an awesome range of food And drink. Owners were very keen for feedback at the end of our stay- always a good sign.
Exceeded our expectations

We loved our stay in Kenanga!
Location is away from ubud's noise, with great views over the rice fields. Everything is well maintained, very clean and you see the eye for details everywhere.
We had both dinner and breakfast and both were amazing. Again a great eye for details.
Staff were very friendly, helpfull and relaxed. No pushing, no time schedules etc as we experienced in some other hotels.

Highly recommended.

The location in front of the rice fields was fantastic, especially in the morning when u get up and u can see the sun reflected on the water. Great breakfast at the restaurant, nice staff. We had a problem with the key of our room we we came back at arounf 11pm one night, and it was fixed promptly.
It was a pity that we have never enjoyed the pool because we have always come back too late: actually the only bad point is that the pool is closed at 6pm (the sun goes down eraly in Bali).
Definetely recommended!

Room tip: no matter which room u would choose, u won't escape from being waken up by frogs and geckos!

The wonderful views over rice paddies are one of the chief attractions of this comfortable and stylish hotel. It is a bit out of the centre of Ubud and there are no particularly interesting cafés, restaurants or shops within walking distance of the hotel (so visitors will need to arrange transportation), but the peace and calm are a real delight. The hotel staff is excellent, the European and Indonesian food tasty, and the breakfasts copious; complimentary afternoon tea, with nice pasties, is a real treat. The rooms are spacious and appointed in a chic minimalist style. The hotel is probably more suitable for couples, families or friends rather than solo or business travellers. The rooms are a bit dark for reading, but I understand that the management will be attending to this relatively minor problem.

Loved this place, ten minutes from the buzz of central Ubud, a world away in peace, quiet, and charm.

It is set amid ancient rice paddies, with a lovely open restaurant Terracotta (seriously good) and lovely accommodation.

We had an atmospheric one room bungalow done tastefully in Balinese décor which lent a feeling of local authenticity.

There is a beautiful infinity pool where you swim looking out across the paddies.

Also very friendly staff and management, who arranged transport around the place, and when we wanted to view some serious art galleries, they set it up and provided a driver at a very reasonable rate.

It' a quality place discerning travelers will be comfortable in.

Highly recommended

Room tip: We liked Room 7, which was a generous studio bungalow, beautifully decorated. Great for 2 people, recommend you ask for this or something similar
