My husband & I were a bit hesitant to eat Italian in Ubud, but I was pleasantly surprised! We shared the Bruchetta with parmigiana melanzane. Good. I had the Gnocchi a'la Sorrentina. It was very satisfying. I could taste that it was handmade as it was very springy and not floury like store bought varieties. My husband had the Pizza a'la Spaccanapoli. He would have ordered extra cheese in retrospect, as we are accustomed to lots of cheese in South Africa, but the base and ingredients were fresh and moreish. I had a bite and really rated it! But if you love cheese, ask for extra (Rp.12,000). Nice Italian music played and the setting is simple but homy and comfortable. I would eat here again if we were staying longer!
