Stayed here for two nights w/ a friend and we both had very positive experiences here. The place is beautiful and spacious, located just 10-15 mins away from the center of Ubud (walking distance). We were surrounded by rice terraces and small gardens - away from all of the traffic and the noise. We woke up at sunrise every morning to the sight of farmers feeding their ducks and tending to their crops. Our room was clean w/ a huge bed capable of sleeping an entire family of 3-4 ppl. Access to fast WiFi was available. The owner, Wayan, and his wife were very friendly. They came around every morning to socialize w/ us and to give us suggestions on things that we should see/experience in and around town. He pointed me to a cremation ceremony while there - an amazing experience - which I wouldn't have known of had he not told me. Wayan also happens to be a great cook and provided us a DELICIOUS homemade breakfast every morning as part of our stay. I ate every lil bit of that banana pancakes w/ fresh fruit that he brought me.

So glad that we stumbled upon this. I highly recommend this to anybody who's looking for a comfortable/clean place to stay and warm hospitality. Well worth every penny and then some!

I stayed in the hotel only for 1 night because that was the day I could spend in Ubud.
The owner and his family is just very attentive and always look for satisfying the guest to the max. The attentive service started from the booking experience with the very fast responses.

The location might be not that 'centre', but if relaxing is what you're looking for, it is the perfect place. Located in Bisma street and surrounded with places to eat and relax. Just a short walking distance from the actual 'center'.

The breakfast was great with the homemade banana pancake (we chose it from the menu given). And I would love to taste other menu should I go there again.

Only 6 rooms available, and they were fully booked when I was there. So better make a good reservation long before the arrival date. Especially in the peak season period.

Will definitely go back again. It is a highly recommended place to stay in Ubud!.

a bit hidden, but with a wonderful garden we found the tannah semujan and were happy from the very first moment.
Wayan was easy to reach in advance through mail and always answered precise and quickly. The rooms are giant and new. breakfast on the balkony is the perfect start for a day in Ubud.
Kitchen is alittle limited though but that is not really worth mentioning.value for money is tremendous and You definetly leave as friends!
we will come back!!!!

Very reasonable price which includes amazing traditional homemade breakfast (try the pancakes!). Friendly owner with beautiful will take good care of you. You even have wi-fi!

It's a short walk to the center of ubud so it's nice and quiet if you feel like walking around during the dawn hours to hear the ducks. it's exactly what i did. highly recommended!

I have found this place after staying in another local Balinese house which was around a 10 $ less than this place which made a big difference and it was well-worth the money in terms of comfort and cleanliness. It had clean and quiet rooms with a nice view, you could order from a selection of breakfasts and have your breakfast on your own section of the balcony. There was a nice bathtub and the bathroom was very clean and spacious.

There was a construction going on just across our room but it was not too loud. As we woke up not too late and was out most of the time, it was not a problem for us. The shower head was a bit too low and you had to hold it in your hand to take a shower, but we didn't mind. There is no shampoo or extra pillows and only one towel for each person is provided, but I am sure they'd be happy to help if you need anything as the owners are really lovely.

It is around 10 minutes walk away from Monkey forest, nice walk with rice fields' view. Very close 5 minutes away, there is a great art cafe with good food. You can also walk through a beautiful set of bungalow's (Nick's) with a lovely view, to get there from downtown as well.

Room Tip: Corner rooms upstairs have a better view.
