“Stunning location, friendly staff and delicious food”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

We found this place just a few days before we went to Bali, it was very close to our villa (Agung Khalia in Pejeng), only a 10 minutes drive.
Unfortunately our first evening in Bali was a rainy, chilly evening and the restaurant was deserted, but that meant extra kind attention of the lovely staff.
We could sit outside as the area was covered, and the staff brought even a sweater for our daughter. The views are great, so is the whole atmosphere.
Food very good. This restaurant is more busy during lunch time, and they also organise bike tours ending here.
What a lovely way (despite the weather) to start our Bali trip here!
Wish you all the best!

“yummy food, great cooking class, beautiful setting”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

Padi Organic organized a whole day for us with pick up from our hotel, bike ride of about 25 km (all downhill), guided by Raka, who took us to all types ofexperiences along the way, and followed by a delicious lunch. After a break to relax we did a cooking class, organized by Alim, where we learnt to make a variety of delicious Indonesian dishes. After 30 years of cooking I learnt to make rice so that it is fluffy and fragrant. And then of course we got to eat it all! The setting is fantastic in the middle of paddy fields and the staff really attentive, friendly and helpful. A great day had by all. And then they drove us back to our hotel.

“Great restaurant and great value!”
Reviewed 14 August 2013

We stayed near the Padi Organic restaurant at Tanah Merah (excellent hotel!) and went there our first night. We had heard nothing about this restaurant and were so pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was (not to mention very cheap!) Highly recommend the crispy duck!

The setting i also fabulous.

“great ambiance and wonderful staff”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

despite being a little hard to find (although getting there just added to the whole nice experience), once you get there you'll find a quiet romantic place, looking over rice paddies. We had dinner in one of the paddocks and listened to to soft music, bristle of the water around and watched the sun set. The staff was more than welcoming and helped us with our choice of food. We hardly have to wait for the food to be deliver and we were delighted with each and every of the 3 courses (i absolutely loved the chocolate desert).
If you are the romantic type and you want to spend some quiet time with your partner away from the noise of the city, then, this is the place for you.

“Organic food in rice fields”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

I'm not sure if my favorite thing about Padi Organic is the gorgeous surroundings (the restaurant is situated in the middle of rice fields, with its organic garden in view), the food (fresh and wonderful) or the owners (Dewa Agung, known as Degung, and his wife). Rent a bike in Ubud and bike out to this glorious spot. Good food, people, and landscape await....
