Absolutely loved it. You are in a small lane flanked by rice paddies, farms and village houses and yet a slow walk of 10 minutes takes you to Monkey Forest or the hustle and bustle of Main street or the market.

Rooms are very clean, food is good, prices very affordable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice infinity pool free wifi that works really well. We really enjoyed it and were sad to leave.

Room Tip: You must go to Monkey Forest for a few hours and the massage and eating out options in Bisma street...

Booked 2 rooms for 5 nights here because we wanted to use Ubud as a base for excursions.
Appared overbooked upon arrival which was not very nice but after speaking to the manager (Pande) he solved the issue.
- Rooms : large with a small terrace and large bathrooms (lighting could be improved)
- a/c : worked very well
- Wifi : worked very well
- Pool : they had a severe PH problem so we did not use but were allowed to use one of the pools in the Bisma 1 (= problem also solved).
- Breakfast : rather dissapointing (having compared to other local hotels)
- staff : very polite and helpful
All in all we would certainly recommend.

We stayed here for a few nights and enjoyed the hotel. Upon check in we were greeted with welcome drinks. At checkin we were informed that the free hotel shuttle ran every 2 hours or so in the Ubud area. To return to the hotel you simply call and they'll promptly pick you up. We always called for pickup after 10 PM so I'm not sure what the pickup policy is during the day.

After dealing with the typical paper work we were shown to our room. We were happy to find the AC already on. The room was nice with a tv, fridge, free bottled water, and a mini bar. The room also had a balcony with a view that overlooked the rice fields. There was seating on the balcony as well. The room was clean. The AC worked well as did the hot water.

Breakfast tyically consisted of pastries, eggs, sausage, bacon, rice, potatoes, cereal, juice, fruits, coffee, and tea oh and banana pancakes buffet style. You can ask them to prepare eggs for you a certain way too. Breakfast was ok. On one morning 2 people in our group were taking part in an early morning activity. The night before we asked if we could grab a few items to go the following morning and were told yes. Surprisingly, the following morning there were 2 boxed breakfasts waiting for us, which was nice. On another morning, we went to breakfast 10 minutes before breakfast ended (9:50) and were told that we would have to pay for breakfast. I think that the buffet items had been put away already. When we told them that breakfast was supposed to end at 10, they agreed to give us the free breakfast, so we ordered off of the menu.

The staff were all very nice, friendly, and proffesional, going out of there way to fulfill our requests.

Two things that I found odd though were 1. The room service staff placed the clean sheets/towels on the floor outside of each room's door prior to changing them. 2. I ate a pizza in the room on our last night at Pertiwi Bisma 2 and left the empty box in the room for a few hours. When I returned, there were a number of bugs around the pizza box. This only happened on the 1 instance when I ate in the room so I would suggest promptly removing food related trash from the room. Other than that I only noticed those gray flat bugs around the room, which I guess is common in parts of Indonesia.

But overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were professional and courteous, and the room was clean and quiet allowing for a good night's sleep or nap during the day.

Bisma2 is a nice quiet small hotel in Ubud area. It's only 10 mins walking distance away from Ubud market and Monkey forest. It located in a very quite corner where you can enjoy the quietness at your balcony at night time.

The room is in very good size, the bed is very comfy, the bathroom was huge, just the hot water was very unstable that we almost got burned several times when taking shower. The staffs are nice, the swimming pool is tiny but cute. Just the only full day we stayed in Ubud, the hotel decided to have its pool being cleaned, so no body could use the pool for that whole day. Many customers were very upset.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people who would like to enjoy their time in Ubud.

Room Tip: The hotel provides free shuttle bus to and from the main areas of Ubud. Also, tell the hotel to arra...

Clean and spacious, lovely staff, beautiful, quiet and relaxing.

Would be helpful to have English instructions next to the safe in the room, and leaving it unlocked, rather than making a big deal by asking lots of staff for assistance.

The Pertiwi Bisma II is located just beside the Bisma I along Jalan Bisma. Basically Jalan Bisma is this small road with a lot of budget yet stylish pensions and accomodations. The Pertiwi Bisma II is located at the very very far end near to Monkey Forest. But there are no through road to the Monkey Forest. There is however a shortcut from the Jalan Monkey Forest Pertiwi Hotel, which makes it a good way to reach back when shopping in Ubud town.

This is a relatively new establishment as such many of the rooms are new and furniture still have their fresh wooden smell. The rooms are big and each has a balcony with a bathtub. However, there are no view to talk about as it faces another establishment beside it. As such there is no point choosing the room. But do go for second floor if you want to have absolute privacy, as the common garden has access to all the level one rooms.

The staff are very friendly and smiling and willing to help. Pool is relatively big but sun chairs are not that many. They do provide pool towel. The Wifi is also quite reliable. The hotel provides a simple basic buffet breakfast, which in my terms, is very good and sumptuous, they have sausages, egg and also pancakes. The breakfast will also be there from 6:30 am- 11:30 am. Even after a dip in the pool, the staff allowed me to go back and take a serving of fruits and drinks. It was very considerate of them.

Shuttle is provided on certain timing. Other than that you can take a walk to the main street which takes about 15 minutes ( normal pace) or you can still get them to ferry you to the Ubud market at Rp 50,000. There are many eateries along Jalan Bisma, which are quiet and cheap, so there is really no need to go into the busy Ubud Market, which has a lot of tourists now.

I would say on the whole the Hotel is worth visiting and the price is really good.

Room Tip: Try to get an upper room. All the rooms are new and well kept. I love the abundance of space.

We stayed 7 nights and were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive at all times. The room was spacious and clean, we were able to make tea and coffee, and 2 bottles of water were provided daily. The restaurant was open for all meals but breakfast was average. The whole place had a quiet, relaxed feel to it. The location was good with a 10 minute walk to the Monkey Forest Street and entrance to the park. In the other direction it was a 15 minute walk to the shopping street and Ubud markets. There was a fantastic complimentary shuttle service into town. There were set times but it was possible to book the service at different times if required. In the evenings you just phone them when you're ready to be picked up. We found all the restaurants were happy to ring for you and the car was usually there within 10-15 minutes.

Room Tip: There is no lift but only one flight of stairs.
