The temple is really worth a visit.
Bring your own sarong if you have or you can get it at the entrance for free.
The park behind is a little locus amoenus.

One of the places which better you with your kids. To collect the knowledge about the temple in Bali. Short visit here.

The elephant cave itself is small and unassuming inside, but the outside is lovely to see. The grounds themselves are beautiful. Walk down the stairs to see the awesome tree roots, the fallen Buddhist temple and get a blessing. Worth a visit.

The two Buddha temples on the site are both damage and only ruins. The water pools are interesting but the caves themselves are filled with suffocating smoke and in my opinion disappointing. My opinion, not worth the visit.
