They have excellent small tapas servings here served in small banana leaf cups. I had the Ikan Bumbu Acar Kuning fish with vegetables in curry sauce, and sauteed cauliflowers and a tomato feta mix.
The servings are a true tapas size - quite small, but somehow it is a refreshing change from the oversized portions offered in America.
Very reasonable prices, friendly people, delicious food and nice ambiance here.
I came back for a second time.

We were absolutely delighted when we happened upon this lovely restaurant whilst walking through Ubud, unfortunately on our last day in Bali. We would have definitely joined them for a full meal if we were staying longer - hopefully next time. As it was we enjoyed superb capuccino coffees and an equally delightful apple pie. The service and atmosphere/decor was excellent and purveyed an homely but also extra special atmosphere - we were very impressed with the design and layout of this restaurant. We were equally pleased with the service, friendliness and professionalism of all the staff - so congratulations on your fabulous place. We wish you well for the future and hope you attract the clientele you deserve. All the very best for us. Pam & Baz NZ

Our family stumbled across Dapur Bunda when my 9-year-old daughter was close to tears because she wanted pancakes for dinner and there weren't any on the menu. The incredibly accommodating staff offered to make her a banana pancake and the tears disappeared. Their tapas-style menu is a great way to sample many Indonesian dishes. The eggplant with sweet chili was amazing, as was the tempeh-bean curd dish and the gado gado. The spicy pepper is thoughtfully served on the side to accommodate a range of tastes. We didn't have dessert but the chocolate cake looked amazing! Very reasonable prices.

I love the decor here! The dishes are small, but perfect for light eating. I recommend the red rice as a base, then adding a curry, a veg, maybe some tempeh. I also tried their freshly made (still hot) apple pie, which was quite good. Also, the staff here are all really pleasant.

One of the cutest Restaurants in town - feels actually like a living room. The staff is absolutely friendly and the Tapas, which are served in banana leaves, are very tasty. Due to the small size of the Tapas it might not be the cheapest place, but even as a low-budget traveler, it is really worth it to stop by.
