My husband and I,along with another couple stayed here for 3 nights early in august. The most beautiful setting, rooms were lovely and clean with a beautiful, peaceful outlook. The staff were not intrusive but very attentive and friendly, every request we made was accomodated:from a request for a driver for a day, to looking after our luggage even after we had checked out. The main pool was a magic spot to relax and the day spa is a absolute must, the therapists are terrific and the location beside the river was just amazing!Breakfast was good, but the evening meal, while catering to western tastes, missed the mark.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely! But I'd eat elsewhere

Stayed 3 nights in August and enjoyed the Hotel well enough. Liked the location, the rooms, the two pools, and the spa. The restaurant was very good in the morning with a plenty full breakfast, but rather limited at night.

Our main complain is the very limited lights provided inside the rooms, at the restaurant and worst of all, along the walkways and stairs. It is just too dangerous to go up and down, not seeing where you step. Inside the rooms, it is simply impossible to read at night or to use the thermostat controls, for that matter. They really need to change all the light bulbs with much more powerful ones. Their operating cost could not be much higher, but it will be much safer for everyone.

Stayed three nights in room 12 - one bed pool villa. It was perfect. We are a family if four so used an extra bed and little one slept in the middle if the huge bed. View spectacular and we even saw monkeys playing. Spent a day in ubud seeing monkeys shopping and headed to elephant safari - great fun. Then had a day with a driver - mambo- organised through hotel - he was great $45 for the day and took us to see the real bali - temples coffee plantations temples and volcanoes.
At dinner (room service) one night and food was good - the setting for breakfast was spectacular. The other night we headed to murnis in ubud - very good and hotel even picked us up. Husband had an excellent spa to due stress him before the holiday began.

This place is a must see! We stayed in June for only 2 nights 2 adults and 2 children in a family villa deluxe with our own private plunge pool. The villa was amazing! Kids had their own bedroom and bathroom we had a ginormous bathroom and king size bed. Views were absolutely fantastic! The lush green forest surrounding us, no noise just birds and animals in the trees. Service is excellent, nothing was any trouble. Food menu is limited but what is available is delicious! Breakfast was very good too. Our room was very clean and serviced daily as soon as we went to breakfast each morning. The resort was full but we never saw more than a few people at a time. A fair way from anything but you just get the shuttle bus to town which is super easy. If you want to getaway from it all then this is the place to do it. Perfect for honeymooners or couples retreat. We really regretted not booking for longer. Will definitely return absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!

Booked two bedroom unit, AUD$280/night. Main B/room door lock flew apart on first opening, wardrobe doors fell off hitting guest in face. 4 people, 2 miss matched cups the only items supplied in Kitchen, had to make 3 request for toilet paper, breakfast cold & UN-eatable. Second night it rain and the roof leaked all over the bed in the main bedroom. Water system gets serviced about 0745 every morning so if you are half way thru shower.....STIFF.
A disgraceful facility that badly needs lots of maintenance and training for staff.
