This is a marvelously run hotel that is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud main street. It is probably the perfect get away for anyone seeking relief from the hectic rush of city life.

The 2nd floor deluxe room that my wife and I stayed in was huge and overlooked a scenic swath of padi. The balcony, complete with two chairs and a coffee table provided a nice chill-out spot for us to take in the view. Despite having seen the reviews about the bath-tub, we were still nicely surprised at the size of the bathtub, which was a comfortable fit for two. The room itself was tastefully decorated and comfortably air-conditioned.

Above and beyond the physical comforts, it was the human touch that made the stay truly memorable! The staff were very polite and friendly, always asking after us and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable, such as bringing us iced teas while we were tanning by the pool. On top of that, the food at the hotel restaurant was delightful and reasonably priced compared to the fare offered in Ubud.

While it is a distance from Ubud main street, the hotel provides a free shuttle service on demand to and fro the Main Street. It also offers reasonably priced transport to various attractions in Bali, such as Kintamani and the rice terraces.

The one drawback were the thin walls between rooms so if you are a light sleeper, do bring along ear plugs!

Would love to go back there again!

My wife and i checked in on Valentine's day for our honeymoon. Even though the pictures of the villa looks great, but once we got there the size of the room just blew our minds away. The room is gorgeous and have a nice rustic, artistic feel to it.The balcony faces a paddy field which gives a totally serene atmosphere.
As for the restaurant, we were spoilt for choices for breakfast every morning. The portion is generous and tasted heavenly, no matter what is being dished up even for something as mundane as mee goreng. Kudos to the chef as the food is truly exquisite.
The ambience of the restaurant is truly amazing. There is a stream running through the villa with the sound of running water, and we can see a group of ducks every morning whilst having breakfast. The service by the waitress and all the staff was truly impeccable.
We had a spa session and like everything else, the treatment was excellent and reasonably priced.
Everyone knows me and my wife by name.
Even though it is a bit of a distance from Ubud town for walking (actually just 5 mins drive away), the free shuttle provided allows us to drop by to town for dinner and to be picked up later at an arranged timing.
We would like to thank Siwi, Dolir and all the staff from Junjungan Ubud for making our stay a truly memorable one.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and it was such a pleasure. This was our second time in Ubud. This time we wanted to stay outside Ubud, in the countryside to have a calm holiday. Still Ubud is quite close and the hotel offers free shuttle to Ubud. The staff was very helpful. I especially enjoyed afternoon tea and bicycle rides around. I would like to stay there again nex time.
I want to say hi to all wonderful staff of Hotel from here and to Siwi! Hi from Istanbul, Turkey:)

We arrived at Junjungan Ubud Hotel n Spa at about 8.30pm. The tranquility n serenity of the whole hotel n the very warm n sincere welcome by Dolir, the front desk staff, drove all our tiredness n weariness away!

Dolir was not the only friendly, warm and genuine staff there... ALL the staff at Junjungan are just so polite, attentive, caring and ever-ready to serve! One can immediately sense that all these Balinese staff serve with their hearts! No pretense at all!

The night scene is extremely lovely n peaceful... we could even see fireflies in the padi fields!

The free wifi n the free shuttle - BONUS to the teenagers!

My gal had a bad fall during our biking trip, treated as outpatient n returned to the hotel - the staff were so caring and concerned... they made enquiry about how well my gal was recovering... We were so touched!

The breakfast n afternoon tea were great! The rooms are so clean n comfortable. I love my dream beds! Four-posted beds!!

We enjoyed the serenity n peace - away from the town centre. The on-demand shuttle service really helps!

Great n lovely hotel!

We will be back!!

We were welcomed by a front desk and he gave us a a detailed explanation of the hotel services. Then we were served with a glass of welcome drink-fresh juice. The front desk offered us to pack our free breakfast out because ŵe need to leave the hotel the next day at 3am for sunrise viewing at Lovina. The breakfast was properly packed into containers with fresh fruits and bottles if mineral waters.
When we got into the room, we complaint that we wanted a double bed but the room was with two twin beds. They quickly combined two beds and rearranged the sheets for us in less than 10 minutes.
We stayed in Deluxe Awan. The view of the balcony was a paddy field. At night, we can hear the sunday of nature, insects and a sky filled with stars.if you look closely, there are fireflies flying around the paddy field and some on our balcony roof. the room was clean and th toilet was brilliant with a huge bath tub that fits two person. Water heater's temperature was good.
On our second night,we had dinner at the restaurant and the waitress were very polite. The front desk on the second night was a different person. We asked for a massage after 6pm but the hotel's massage was closed. He offered ago help us call the massage centre at Ubud to check on their availability, then he will arrange a shuttle to send us out.Unfortunately, all the massage centers were fully booked. The hotel massage starts at 10am till 6pm everyday. We need to check out at 10.30am tomorrow. He managed to arrange a massage for us at 9am.
They tried their best to fulfill all our needs and wants. Its a wonderful two night stay and we definitely will come back.

Room was big and had a great view.
The shuttle service does not run on any schedule. They are ready to take you to town whenever you want. Return is based on the time you tell them to wait for you at the pickup point.
Or you can call the hotel and they will send the driver over immediately (about 10 mins drive).
All the staffs were very warm and friendly.
The breakfast and tea that came with the room were excellent.
