Stayed at Kori resort recently and had an excellent stay. Staff and amenities were great. Spacious room with a large bathroom with a great pool just outside our door. Supermarket and restaurants nearby and the resort offered a free daily shuttle into Ubud centre. Look forward to returning there again.

I recently spent a week at Kori, Ubud and found the hotel to be delightful. The rooms are large and well maintained, the pools and garden in excellent condition. The hotel is close to restaurants and bars, shops and a mini supermarket as well as being just a short (20 minute) walk to Ubud. The best is left to last-the staff are a delight and made the stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Myself and three girls stayed here in a two bedroom property with private pool. The staff, food are surroundings were incredible. We enquired many times about day trips and activities and the staff on reception were so helpful. They booked us a cooking class, bike trip and boats to and from Gili T. Whilst I did not use the spa, my friend said it was the best massage she has ever had! At times there were lizards in the villa but you are in the jungle in bali... we loved it here.

On the first sight it looks amazing here. But actually it is horrible. The room is so dirty, we can’t discribe.
- Our first night here, we opened the bedsheets and there were dirty spots everywhere on the bed, with a curly hair too. We have called the reception and they would send someone to clean, I pointed to the spots to show the housekeeping, he wasn’t even looking at it and said: I clean!
- Second, everywhere you look, you will see insects. Because there is a gab in the door so lots of insects and gecko’s/lizards will joining the party at night. Thats not everything.
- The wifi is also not working. In the afternoon it is ok, but in the evening.. just go to sleep because it won’t work.
- The bathroom is also not very well, we rather not use the bathroom because it doesn’t look clean. Insects everywhere again, bathtub is full of filth when we wanted to fill the bath.
- We used the laundry service but our clothes smelled so gross that we actually can bring it back.
- The bedsheets are wet, there is a lot of moist. Because of the moist, my boyfriend got ill overnight.

We went to the reception, to tell this. They gave us an explaination for all of this. But still, we couldn’t go out because of his illness. We didn’t enjoyed our stay at all. So we decided to check out a day earlier and go to our next destination one day earlier.

However the staff and the restaurant are very friendly and the food was good. Maybe we were just unlucky with the room.

My friend and I stayed here for five nights in early May. The hotel is not located in central Ubud, which I personally found to be a good thing as it was more quiet in the evening which is what I wanted. The property itself is nice (the pools etc), but the rooms were somewhat less impressive. The room is large, but the mattress is hard, the sink was not fully functional, underneath the sink was not entirely clean and there seemed to have been an ant problem in the bathroom. The room could have also used a good paint job. The staff were friendly and breakfast served at the restaurant is simple and sufficient. The hotel is also located in front of a 24/7 supermarket which is incredibly helpful. The hotel also offers a shuttle services within specified times to Ubud city centre and back.

Dear Sirs,,,
Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us at Kori Ubud,,,
the mattress is hard (*)
-Frankly speaking above of King-Quail mattress we have set-up a soft top pillow (6-cm thick duvet) to create more comfortable rest.
-We are going to set-up another protection.

Underneath the sink was not entirely clean and there seemed to have been an ant problem in the bathroom.
We have to anticipate this advice. this is a risk of Eco tourism accommodation.

Once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused,,,
