I stayed at the hostel for a week. It is a great place if you are looking to make new friends and spend most of the time walking around. Since you are sharing one big room it is easy to meet new people every day. It is located in the centre of Ubud and it is easy to walk around from there. The reception is open 24hours so you can always find somebody to help if you need. There are lockers so you can keep your things safe. The only problem is the toilet is very close to the rooms and you can hear most of what goes on inside.

Room Tip: I would ask for a bottom bunk

Clean. Simple. Easy. Comfortable. Halfway through my 9 day stay here. Perfect. Easy to meet other solo travellers. Hot showers too. Music downstairs some nights which is loud but stops at 11:30pm so not really a problem. And really good central location. Would definatly recommend!

Thank you for your helpful comment. We are very glad to know that our guests like sleeping together in our large bed room ! Our guests are respecting each other and keeping silent during the night. Wi-Fi service has been very much improved since past few years in Ubud area although often interrupted by maintenance works near by the region. We are trying hard to keep our hostel clean and comfortable to welcome your again !

Thank you for your warm comment. We are very glad to hear that you could enjoy shower time in our place. We are sure that you have enjoyed hot shower too ! Before starting this hostel ,we heard that water system is often insufficient in this category of accommodation. We promise you to continue our service quality for all the guests who loves "great shower" in this summer !

A great little place! It's only been open a month and is perfect for backpackers prioritising location in Ubud. Just one 20 bed dorm room located above a restaurant just off the road leading to the Monkey Forest. For $9 a night I thought it was fab value for such a great location. The dorm is immaculately clean, there's 2 showers and 3 toilets and a little chill-out area in reception. Wifi is good and the restaurant downstairs sells reasonable food. But it's also really close by some cheaper local restaurants if you're watching your purse strings. All the staff were really helpful, providing maps of the local area and helping us with whatever we needed. 15 min walk tops to the Monkey Forest, a few mins from Ubud Market and the Palace and right in the heart of all the shops. There's parking out front if you come by motobike (supposed to be 1,000rp every time you park up, but we stayed 3 days and we were never charged).

Dorm room is fan only, not aircon, but I didn't find it too warm at all; it was very airy. Each bed has a plug socket and the bed was made each day. Lights are switched off by 11pm latest, so I slept well. It's by no means a party hostel, but Ubud isn't a party place!! Personally, it suited me great - I had no problems getting to bed early to be up for a sunrise walk through the rice paddies (and for a 20 bed dorm room, I thought it was really quiet and everyone was very respectful).

I really recommend this place. Good for meeting other backpackers and a comfy place to go at the end of a long day. Don't expect 5* luxury, but if you're a traveller looking for somewhere with a great location which is clean and quiet then I think this place is worth a look.
