Accommodation is exactly as it looks in photographs with views over rice terraces, staff were amazing, as were room and facilities, lots of nice little touches, although quite remote it was just what we wanted for a quiet luxurious couple of days and we organised some private tour pick ups from the villa easily via Bali sun tours.

We stayed at Villa Wedang for three nights and we absolutely fell in love. Such a beautiful spot out of the hustle and bustle of the main town. The room was lovely, bed super comfortable and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The pool overlooking the rice paddy fields is stunning and the staff are the jewel in the crown. We stayed with our 10-month-old and the staff were falling over themselves to talk to her and make her smile. Breakfast was delicious and we loved starting our morning enjoying it on our balcony. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves as there was noone in the other villa which was a treat. If you are thinking of booking here, just do it! We will definitely be back.

We arrived at the villa to very happy staff. They were smiley and instantly offered us a welcome drink and took our bags straight down to the villa.

The villa was spotless and tidy, comfy bed and had a beautiful outdoor shower room. The staff were there whenever we needed them too and were so polite.

You are also able to get your food taken to your room to eat on the balcony with a breathtaking view (lovely at breakfast). The food is also incredible might I add, we left with a mild addiction to their grilled veggie sandwich, which I have had to find the recipe for!

All in all, the best stay in Bali so far. Stunning villa, stunning view and an even better experience due to the wonderful staff who made us feel very very welcome indeed.

You have to stay here if you get the chance! The value for money is above and beyond what we expected.

We were staying at Villa Wedang for a few days only and it was a really great stay.

The view from the room and the view from the infinity pool into the rice fields and the jungle is amazing. You can especially feel the connection to where you are when having breakfast on the balcony of your room, looking at nature and eating bananas that were harvested directly from the trees you are looking at.

The rooms (only 2 villas in total, the owner is planning to build 2 more in the future) are very clean and nice, nothing that is missing here. There is an own balcony with an amazing view as mentioned earlier.
If you're not a big fan of nature sounds this is not the place for you though, the place is very calm but the jungle makes a lot of sounds at night.

The breakfast is great, we had fresh fruit, fresh juices and we had to order one of the choices and the time the night before. The choices are pretty typical, like any kind of eggs or traditional pancakes. Everything was very tasty and fresh.

The staff was extremely friendly, we had great talks with the staff and also with the owner who was driving us (we had ordered transport on several occasions). Everything is very intimate and it was a pleasure to get to know the people working there.

Around the hotel there is not a lot - a few stores for water and some small things are nearby (2 mins by foot). The villas are located in a small village that is very nice and has lots of small shrines everywhere.

For dinner, you can either walk to the more populated places (which is a hilly 10-15 minutes walk) or you can order some food from an Indonesian place nearby through the reception. Of course you can also order transport.

Villas Wedang have great staff, beautiful views and clean rooms and we are highly recommending them for a few calm and nature-bound days to stay.
