stay for 2nites, rooms ok, breakfast ok,very peaceful place

on the last day stay, was asked by the reception to pay the room as we checking out the next day, the cc machine not working..n its was our fault too accidentally said that we will get cash from the room. After paying go out for dinner, come back only to see envelope with the cash inside only left RP50k. We really dont want to pickpoint but obviously who else knows that we kept the cash inside our room (we kept some of it coz of bad experience with pickpocket outside).
What make it worst the day checkout no one came to see or talk to us,except transport manager for our driver there (huh?)..not even rano or ibu kiki checking our situation. the transport manager said its 1st time happen in rumah ebo..well, there will be 1st time for everything kan. No one even at the reception area when we wanna give back our room key. Why like that .tho' we have bad experience there but have some courtesy lar..its not like we didnt pay for the room :|

for rumah ebo : i know u read this..very dissapointed of how u handle bad situation like i had

I spent last weekend in Bandung and stayed in Rumah Ebo just off the Dago road. The location is great being near good restaurants and is centrally located to to get into town via public transport. But it is in a peaceful neighbourhood far enough away from the main road.

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are very clean and my bed was more comfortable than my bed at home in Bogor!! Breakfast was included in the price which is eaten out in the lovely garden to the sound of the little stream filled with koi!

Would definitely recommend Rumah Ebo to anybody travelling to Bandung.

This hotel is a great choice for backpackers or budget travelers. It's located only about 200 metres from the main Dago road which is one of the main attractions in Bandung.
I stayed here for 3 nights in the single room (the cheapest room). The room was small in size but was pretty decent. It came with an extra bed. There was no Aircon or TV or in-room bathroom (but other types of room may have it) but it suited me just fine.
They provided simple breakfast of the choices of traditional rice porridge or toast and coffee or tea.
However they only gave basic toiletry of non-brand small hotel soaps, shampoo, and dental kit. So you might want to bring you personal toiletry with you when staying here.
There is actually some other services that they didn't mention in the website. Like for example they actually have wireless internet connection that will cost you 25,000 rupiahs (around USD 3) from your check-in until your check-out date. But this you must request and will be added to your bill. The wireless connection was satisfactory, if not fast.
If I need simple bed and breakfast accommodation in Bandung, I'd consider staying here again.

Rumah Ebo is a charming little guest house house in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. The staff are friendly and Kiki was kind enough to speak in English for me. She even went out of her way to book a travel car for my journey home.
The main house is beautiful with a peaceful garden in back. Each morning breakfast is served in the garden which is surrounded by a lovely little, man-made waterway. You can catch some of the fish jumping on a regular basis. I enjoyed drinking coffee and eating my breakfasts of bubur (rice porridge with delicious toppings) and nasi kuning (yellow rice which is made from turmeric).
I also liked walking around the neighborhood. There are some great, "hip," and modern restaurants/cafes within walking distance. They all offer Free Wifi as well. Due to the quiet atmosphere, you would never know that one of the busiest roads in Bandung is close by. You can walk to Jalan Juanda to do some outlet shopping. The area is quite happening until late at night. If you want to check out other popular areas, it is easy to call a taxi or catch public transportation around here.

Home away from home, good location (behind jalan dago shopping area!), friendly staff...one miss kiki was really helpful...the family room was huge and cleanliness wise was superb! rooms were cleaned up everyday and towels, shampoo and bath foams are provided.

From my experience tho, it's better to call them direct rather than email, they rarely check it so it's pretty difficult. They helped arrange a van for our 5d4n trip..wonderful.
