My stay here was not what I expected. I heard good reviews from my friends, so my expectations were high, but these are the things that happened:

- arrived at about 10AM, just to put our bags at the concierge. Everything was smooth.

- at about 5PM we went over to the hotel again to check in.. A guy greeted us, so we proceed to check in and waited for our keys. We stood there for close to 15mins, and only to realize, he was doing another person's request! He did not even bother to tell us to wait or refer us to his other colleagues.

- room flaws:
I used the toilet, and realize that the pipe was leaking, so the whole toilet was wet.
no tissue box
the safe box is not working (when called, they asked to put our valuable at the concierge!)

- breakfast
some of us, ordered 2 servings of omelette and when we did the second order, the chef said "tadi kan sudah order" (which means: i thought you ordered one before?") If there is a limit to the number of omelette we can order, please inform us beforehand.

- check out
we went out about 10AM, told them we will keep our luggage at the concierge and will return about 12PM. Bell boy put our luggage near the entrance, and it was still there when we return at 12PM. What if somebody just took our luggage and went off, who will be responsible?

Overall, I did not have a pleasant stay.

The good thing about this hotel is, the room is huge and it is very near to shopping places.

Stayed in the junior suite for 2 nights.
Room was really spacious, it was nice with panaromic view.
Breakfast was ok, there was not much of variety, same breakfast we had on 2nd day, restaurant staff was quite slow to clear the table.
The only best thing was that it had a nice location with ciwalk just beside it to do some shopping or dining in. Street shopping was really close by.

We arrived in Bandung at 12.00 AM and were expecting a quick check in. Unfortunately, there was no one in reception desk and we have to wait about 5 mins. Then, the person that greeting us have no smile at all. He served us very coldly and offering us the room at lower floors despite I already mentioned in Agoda to have higher floors. I have no energy left to argue that night because a long drive before.
My room didn't meet my expectation. I booked one junior executive room and expecting a hell of a view, but since we got lower floor, we only got street view covered by a tree. The breakfast area was surprisingly good though. It's open space and fresh air in the morning. We really enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. The food was also good except the sausage (it's horrible).
We will think twice before booking any room at this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights in Sensa Hotel on mid of August 2013 and booked through agoda. We expected that we gonna had a nice and pleasant stayed at Sensa.
But we were wrong!!
After direct trip from Singapore and drive from Soekarno hatta airport, we expected that our room will be ready at the time we arrived ( we arrived around 3.30 pm ). But unfortunately not, we still have to wait more than 30 minutes until our room ready ( F.O team was extremely busy and no sign of management team that helping them or either talk with the waiting guest ).
Even after we arrived at the room surprised is not yet end.....room is not yet completely ready to occupied...no slippers, still have stain on table....then we called housekeeping to ask for it ( they said will send it to us as soon as possible, but until we check out we never heard any follow up from them ) finally we bought our own at the first nite as Ciwalk is only one step away from the Hotel.
But in the morning we were smile as the breakfast is really stunning with good variety of local food and nice presentation as well, at least we can smile.
Not recommend for a travellers with young children but good for travellers with teenager as Ciwalk is only a step away.
Maybe will coming back, but still not sure.....after the experience I had there

In one sentence, I can describe this hotel as a premium budget hotel or as a big brother of Ibis hotels. It is situated next to Ciwalk mall with an interconnection from the hotel. In the Ciwalk mall, there are a lot of restaurants available, 2 pharmacies, a supermarket, lot of textile shops & ATMs. The room was big enough, neat & clean but unfortunately with lot of budget restrictions (like when you open the balcony door, the air con will switch off, but will not work again even though you close the door, but needs a manual restart). Internet connection was very poor with very feeble wi fi signals. The internet access is controlled by coupons which the reception will give you like "ration" and on the coupon it is mentioned that "not for video streaming"- Hello, who needs video streaming while on vacation and while it is even difficult to open emails, then how come videos.? You can login to only one device at a time, I assume the hotel forgot the fact that it is 2013 and majority of the travelers are carrying at least a laptop and a smartphone.

Very poor sound proof between rooms & corridors, feels like people walking through your room. A lot of mosques nearby, sorry to say, but you needs ear plugs for a good sleep (but this is quite common in Indonesia). Rooms & bathroom are neat, but the shower room have only half door, so always water will spill to the toilet area. The breakfast was average, unfortunately most of the restaurant staff are not much friendly and avoids smiling. On the omelet counter, I asked the chef not to put much oil, he didn't mind it and added a lot.

I booked a tour through the hotel counter which was little costly (IDR 6,00,000/- day, but I finished the trip in 6 hrs). From my point of view, only the volcano visit is worth and all others like tea plantations, strawberry farm, hot water spring etc can be avoided. If you are interested in shopping, then you can visit some good factory outlets for purchase, even though it is not so cheap there.

In general, I will recommend this hotel for upper level budget travelers for few days stay.

Room Tip: Ask for some sound proofed rooms

Booked two senior executive rooms for one night.

This category of room is simply outstanding for its sheer size, modern design , expansive windows with undoubtedly the best view of any hotel in Bandung. For the price it's the best deal in town. The room is at least 1.5 times the size of a junior suite at the Papandayan and twice the size of the rooms at the Trans studio for less money.

Check in is quick and easy.

The pool as at the Hilton is placed at the dining area which puts you in full view of everyone - a concept I don't like.
The breakfast is entirely local and very ordinary. There is no yogurt and the diced fruit should not be floating in water. The pastries were not as good as you'd find at 5 star hotels in Bandung. Seemed to been baked the previous day rather than early in the morning. The only available egg dish is an omelette - pretty tasty for a pre prepared item.
I would rather pay more for better food and have an option of dining at an executive lounge.
The room almost compensates for some of this hotel's deficiencies. These include a very bug riddled internet service which only allows one device to be used in the rooms and is too burdensome to use because of a complex pw and username and you have to log on after each hour. Public areas again require log in and when you finally accomplish that it only works intermittently.

There should be a desk lamp in the room.
Only two small towels of low quality are provided in the rooms.
The adjacent mall is directly linked to the hotel but the dining option are fewer than at Bandung super mall.
I love this hotel for the absence of ostentation and I repeat - the rooms are outstanding

We stayed for 3 nights at Sensa Hotel. Good location - very close to Ciwalk where there are many cafés avid restaurant and a local supermarket and cinema. Front office staffs are patient and helpful. Breakfast spread is acceptable. However, room cleanliness can be enhanced.
