“Hotel Amaris Cihampelas, Bandung, Indonesia”

If you are looking for a not so expensive yet clean and friendly hotel in Bandung, Amaris Cihampelas may be a good choice. The hotel staff is courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean, but a bit small. The location is good. You have two 24 hour convenient stores nearby. However there isn't much variety for breakfast.

We stayed here during idul fitri... And had to stay here because the other Amaris at Cimanuk is fully booked..

Rooms are the same, no problem with that..
Location is okay.. Near cihampelas walk and the jeans district.. But cihampelas street is Always packed with traffic the whole day..

This hotel lacking parking space.. Breakfast is ok
Frint desk Staffs are so busy, they did not notice us standing in front of the reception desk waiting to be checked in...

I highly prefer the other Amaris than this one...

Amaris@Cihampelas is a hotel that is definitely worth your money. Prices may vary but it will definitely not be more than 30USD per night.

Yes.. the rooms are rather small. For solo travellers or couples who intend to spend more of their time outside of their hotel room, this is the hotel for you.

Their selling point is definitely the location. After you exit the lobby, when you turn right, walk for about 7 mins, there you go Jeans Street & The Ciwalk Mall. Jeans street if you happen to not know is well known for selling cheap denim but of more recently, local clothing labels have make their way there. Its very colourful. They also have water dispenser at the corridor of individul floors to give guest a choice of cold plain water/ warm plain water. The front desk are a friendly bunch, they will help you out if you need any. And a plus point is, FREE WIFI! They do have a swimming pool, but it is rather small, more for small children or toodlers.

One downside is that the road up front can be easily congested. Especially if you were to stay there during a weekend. The roading leading up to the hotel (from airport/train station) can be very out of sort(usually you don't walk here, its just for cars to enter the hotel due to the fact of the confusing "One Way Only" road that they have there).

Another one will be their breakfast. Yes most of the time, breakfast is complimentary for a night stay, but their breakfast is below average. Limited choices, it may vary but from my last visit, it was fried rice/noodles, hotdogs, breads, juices, omelettes and that is it. Only the omelette look fresh as it was cooked on the spot by local chef.

If you aren't picky, infront of the hotel, there are road side stalls that sells local food such as fried rice and vice versa. Tried them, very delicious but be cautious, not for those who are "very hygienic" but for me its fine.

The Locations for this Hotel is good in Cihampelas Street - the Central of Jeans Shop in Bandung, but Cihampelas is one way street and traffic jam in morning and evening, especially in Holiday Season. the room is small but cleans. warmness staff, simple breakfast. Simple Bussiness Hotel ..

Stayed at this hotel in 2011, a smart hotel style with limited services provided. The room is too small, amenities were average and the breakfast is unvariety and sometimes empty on the dishes. The only positive point is centrally located close with shopping area. Parking also spacious.

The hotel is right on the busy Cihampelas Road Bandung. Easy access to the famous Cihampelas factory outlets. Room is a bit small but nice. Breakfast provided by the hotel is a very simple one... good enough to fill your stomach.

If you're on a budget, I think Amaris is not a bad place to stay in. Their rooms are nicely deocrated, clean but small. The window overlooking the street is small. The bed was comfortable though. There is no pool as well, but if you have kids, they can swim in the kids pool next to the eating area (it's small and shallow). The bathroom in my room was clean, despite some people's reviews. The location is good though. Factory outlets and the famous Cihampelas Walk mall is within walking distance. Considering its location, I wasn't in the hotel much, so I didn't really find a significant problem with the hotel. Also, if you always bring your water bottle because you drink a lot of water like me, you'll find the water dispenser at the middle of the hallway handy.
The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the breakfast. There was very little choice, and breakfast being my favorite meal of the day, this aspect disappointed me.
