This is a must visit if you go to Jakarta! i actually had fun there enjoying the very relaxed weather and fresh air!! the garden is huge and have varieties of plants with cute deers roaming around, there are also beautiful lake garden that are filled with lilies and lotus that is one real sight! The one that impresses me the most is actually the Raflesia flower within the garden!

it's old palace from Governor General Deandles era, around 17 century..the palace is closed for public but you can see it from the gate/fence. you can even feed the deers front the fence.

The historical places, clean, fresh air, and big garden.... you can bring your family for play and picnic.

The Palace is not open everyday. Hence, make a call to know if it's open or not. Or make an appointment. Or go during the school holidays - June-August. The back view of the Palace can be seen from the Bogor Botanical Garden.

all part of the Botanical Gardens experience, helps to explain a lot about the development of the gardens. Also the relationship of the Raffles while they resided in the area, before going onwards to Singapore...
