Good:
- East access
- Only three around the world, others are in Germany and Russia
- Well maintained

Not so good:
- Better to go with people, more than two. Kind of creepy.
- Explanation should be added

I walked to this monument from Boncafe. It's around 10 minutes. The monument is actually ex-submarine which was used during the battle in Irian Barat Independence. PT KAL separates the submarine's body and rejoining it again in today's place where we can see it.

The feeling inside is sensational, feeling so deep and can't imagine how people could've worked there. After that we can see short movie which explains the history.

Who would have thought you could actually walk through the interior of an old navy sub. And in the middle of the city no less.
For the most part the sub is still intact so you can walk around pushing and pulling on just about everything. While at the same time getting to know what it felt like being in a small space under water trying to protect your country.
It was obviously cramped for the poor souls who had to bear it doing their civil duty, the sub even on land was hot and humid but it was a nice experience to be able to say I was in a sub.
Just outside are a few stalls where you can get a cool drink and some snacks. There is also a video room with a movie about the sub.
Nice way to pass an hour of the day.

See the old submarine during the world war II. Its a great museum basically for those of never enter to the submarine before and feel the atmosphere. Even though some of the interior part has already change and broken, but you still can see the big picture of inside the submarine and the history off course.
